We hired Mattrix Music and Entertainment for both their DJ and photo booth services for our recent wedding and couldnt be happier with how it turned out. Prior to the wedding, Matt was very prompt to answer all of our questions. As the wedding day approached, he worked with us to finalize the last few details and even provided some helpful feedback for some of our song choices. On the day of, he was professional, friendly, and flexible as things got a little off schedule. We provided a few songs that we wanted to play, but otherwise, just provided a general direction that he fully delivered on. He kept the party going throughout the night. As far as the price was concerned, he was very competitive to others that we quoted. Highly recommend!

INCREDIBLE! Matt did an amazing job for our ceremony, reception and the dancing portion of our wedding! From our very first conversations we were sure we would have a great time with him taking care of the music, and he did not disappoint! In fact, he exceeded expectations!! Matt took the time to get to know us and fully understand what we were looking for and then catered perfectly to our taste! Every step of the way communication and organization with him was super easy and his responses were fast! Although we had a little mishap with our cake that forced us to re-arrange our schedule during reception, which affected the timeline we had planned for music, Matt rolled with the punches and seamlessly adapted to the situation and communicated with the other vendors without the need to interrupt us during our special day! Matt was timely, kind and well dressed and it is obvious to us that he takes his craft seriously and is a seasoned professional. Music selection was perfect, and everyone had a blast on the dance floor!! Could not have asked for a better DJ We 1000% recommend him, and absolutely appreciated all of his hard work and dedication Thank you Matt!

I was hoping to have a great experience especially based on the raving reviews. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I was extremely disappointed with the service we received. We signed a contract with Mattrix Music in 2022 for our 2023 wedding. Matt agreed that they could provide setups in three different rooms for our venue (cocktail, reception dinner, and reception dancing). We didnt have to communicate much until closer to our wedding date. He sent us a form to complete with the songs we wanted to play at our wedding. We sent this information and didnt hear back until the week of the wedding. There was no communication until our wedding coordinator reached out by email.I followed up with Matt from the email she forwarded to me and he said he would give me a call on a certain date. He never called. We had to follow up again for a call. When we spoke to him, he acted as if he had no idea what we spoke about or what contract he gave us in 2022. He also stated that we never talked about the three-room setup however, I have emails proving that we did. He then informed us that he needed to do a walkthrough the Thursday before our wedding. We thought he wouldve done this prior to the week of as he stated that he has worked at this venue many times before.Also, he never informed us that another DJ from the company would be performing at our event. We were under the impression that Matt would be the one to DJ our event because he never provided a DJ selection list. He informed us that another DJ would be playing at our event the WEEK OF our wedding.The DJ who did arrive and performed at the wedding was very bad. Her timing with all of the reception dinner music was horrible and she played music off of her phone during the reception dinner. My wedding coordinator had to MC the entire night. It was awful. She played songs too long and the transitions were nonexistent. She played very few of our selected songs and the songs she did play were not the requested edited versions. I honestly could've bought my Numark and played music if I knew this was the service we were going to receive.It feels as though the company did less than the bare minimum when it came to the multiroom DJ equipment setup that was contractually agreed upon. Our wedding coordinator physically moved speakers from one room to the next. The microphone during the reception dinner did not work properly and seemed as if it was not tested beforehand. The microphone continuously cut out during the speeches.I would recommend looking elsewhere for a DJ as it felt like he didn't care about us and severely lacked communication in a timely manner.

Idk if he had an off night at our wedding or what but he used the wrong names to introduce my husband and I into our wedding reception which was embarrassing especially after I wrote in my email what I'd like him to address us as word for word. I'm not really even sure he said my husband's name at all.He was on time, and the music transitions were smooth. The volume kept being turned up too loud but he adjusted quickly when we would ask him to lower it. He stuck to my playlist as I asked him to in the email which I appreciated and loved. He could use a new mic, though, as his is pretty static filled when he spoke.He's a nice guy, I like his personality, but it was bumpy at first. Once the announcements were done, though, the night went more smoothly. It was just disappointing having to correct our guests all night with their questions about what last name we are using and why it was the bride's lolEdit for more information, this was the Stunard wedding on October 27th, we had Matt Mattrix as our DJ.
