- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
-$145 minimum 2 hr service call ($45-$75/hr thereafter) on small jobs. -Make a list I can complete several tasks -Quote for larger jobs. -charges reduced when learning curves or "pilot error" add time on the clock. -Trustworthiness and craftsmanship, priceless..... -A contractor's time and experience is his/her product..... Remember-tools, supplies, vehicle fuel/maintenance, insurance and other expenses must be included in hourly rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
-Reply to ThumbTack requests asap. -All appointments scheduled by phone -Onsite consulting to determine needs of customer and goal of project. -Discuss specific desired functional benefit -Provide options and solutions based on budget feasibility and style choices.
