- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for cleanings is based on the initial first time clean. First time cleans are hourly at $25 an hour per person cleaning (between one or two people). After the first time clean, I will decide on a set price for future regular or semi- regular cleanings. Typically I do weekly, bi- weekly, and monthly.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always knew I had a knack for cleaning as I enjoyed doing it so much. Growing up, it was what I would do to earn an extra few bucks to buy myself some goodies.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I was recently hired to clean for a family of 5. They had laundry piled up and the house needed a really good deep clean. My partner and I spent 12 hours cleaning their home inch by inch. The end result was the most satisfying thing. Their home smelled beautiful and looked brand new when we completed our work. Even the kids commented on how nice and clean it was. They even seemed excited about it! Watching the family come home and enjoy their beautifully clean home was so rewarding and that's why I continue to do this. I really do strive to make my customers happy.
