My good friend and Neighbor David recommended then as they did fantastic job at he’s house .. I told Julio I’m a Lawyer and you better do good Job and don’t lie to me cause I will sue you and I’ll WIN !! lol
this guys are amazing they did a great job ! I was looking for a Rustic hill on my front yard with some big rocks , he did a perfect match with my expectation 100% and i decided to give him more projects including a replacement of a Retaining Wall next to my Driveway i invest 40k in my all yard with Julio and he’s Company Tms Designer’s LLC , I highly recommend for every project

The owner, Julio Jaramillo, and his employees are great to work with. A few years ago, they did some extensive cleanup of my back yard, removing several tall pine trees and the decades-old established ivy beneath them. Recently I asked Julio to look at a dead dogwood tree that was uncomfortably near my house and the neighbor’s driveway. He and his crew took care of that and of another dead tree (hardwood) I’d overlooked, plus cut back the nearly roof-high holly “bushes” on the front and sides of the house. It’s back to looking like it did when we moved in over 20 years ago. Julio is especially good at prioritizing what needs to be done or, if you’ve reached your outlay limit, later—and he’s equally good at arranging things to happen as soon and completely as possible, to further save you money by keeping the crew and equipment onsite for the day or two it might take. Thanks again, Julio!

Julio and his team did a great job on leveling my backyard, putting in a retaining wall, and laying new sod. He was very thorough, explained all of my options, was always available for questions when I texted him, and even met with my neighbor to explain to him what we were doing and ask if he could access my yard through the neighbors yard.
I was out of town for a week in the middle of the project on vacation, and Julio would text me and send me pictures.
We ran into an unexpected sprinkler system that I didn't even know I had. Julio worked with me on a good price to re-run and connect it to the main sprinkler system so I would be able to water it on a timer with the rest of the house. I wasn't expecting to have a sprinkler system down there, but glad it all worked out the way it did.
The project has been complete for about 3 weeks, and Julio just texted me that he came by, there were a couple patches of sod that didn't appear to be coming in, and if they didn't come up in a couple weeks, he was going to bring some new sod by and patch it. I didn't even ask him, he just did that himself because he really tries hard at having great customer service.
I will be hiring these guys again when I am ready to replace my fence, and would recommend talking to them about any outdoor project, as they seem to do a lot of different things.

If you read ANY review today, let it be this one.
Hiring TMS Designers LLC and Julio was the single biggest, most expensive, most frustrating mistake we’ve ever made as homeowners.
And let me be clear upfront:
We are not the type of homeowners trying to get over on anyone.
We weren’t looking for free work, or shortcuts, or handouts.
We were actually looking for someone trustworthy who we could build a long-term relationship with and send future projects to.
Julio had that opportunity — and he failed us in every possible way.
THE WORK WAS A DISASTER.
Our covered patio looked like it was thrown together by someone who was racing a stopwatch and didn’t care about the outcome.
Column wraps splitting open
Trim crooked, uneven, jagged
Caulk smeared everywhere like a child’s art project
Paint drips, scratches, dents, smudges
Lights installed into rough, butchered holes
Gaps big enough to see INSIDE the structure
And yes… paint all over our concrete pad because basic drop cloths apparently weren’t part of the plan
Nothing — and I mean NOTHING — about the job looked like it came from a professional.
THE “REPAIR” WAS A JOKE.
After we complained, Julio sent someone to “fix” things.
I wish I were exaggerating, but we could NOT believe what we saw.
This man showed up with:
No ladder
No tools
No proper supplies
No professionalism whatsoever
He literally stood on top of our garbage can to reach the posts, splashing paint everywhere like he was frosting a cake.
Instead of fixing the mess, he multiplied it.
More paint everywhere.
More sloppy lines.
More damage.
More chaos.
At that point we realized:
There was no skill, no pride, and no intention of doing things right.
OTHER CONTRACTORS CONFIRMED WHAT WE ALREADY KNEW.
We had multiple professionals come out to evaluate the damage.
EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. said the same thing:
Wrong materials
Wrong installation
No prep work
Rushed
Sloppy
Unsafe
Not worth repairing
The consistent recommendation?
“Tear it all down and start over.”
And that’s exactly what we were forced to do.
We paid another company to demolish the entire thing and rebuild it properly, from scratch.
BROKEN PROMISES. MISSED APPOINTMENTS. GHOSTING.
Julio promised he would “make it right.”
He promised he’d “cover part of the cost.”
He promised he would come out repeatedly.
We gave him multiple chances:
Missed appointments
No-shows
No calls
No texts
Excuses
Then complete silence
He simply disappeared when it was time to take responsibility.
OUR EXPERIENCE WAS A NIGHTMARE.
In our personal opinion, based solely on what we went through:
TMS Designers LLC took our money, delivered rushed, low-quality work, and vanished when it mattered most.
This wasn’t a one-time mistake — it was a pattern:
Poor craftsmanship
Zero accountability
No professionalism
No communication
No follow-through
Thumbtack should NOT allow this man on their platform.
Homeowners trust this site to connect them with quality professionals.
What we received was the complete opposite.

If you care about your home, your money, your time, or your sanity, do NOT hire TMS Designers LLC.
