FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

It really depends on what the client is asking for. If they are asking for blemish removal and other basics, they will probably pay about $2 a photo. There are packages for professional photographers. The more photos a client has edited at a time, the more they save. Photoshop art is something new Shoot First is offering, so if a client asks for something complex created in Photoshop, it would be around $25. Usually a price is given based on the project, but those are some basic numbers. Photo editing is a strange business that prices can vary on, and I want clients to know that this is something that is affordable. You also do not pay until you get the final product. Satisfaction guaranteed.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

There are many different things that contributed to my decision to do what I do. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but I believe it is worth much, much more than that. I love being a part of creating something beautiful. I have also seen many photographers behind a computer when they should be behind a camera. I'm just naturally really creative, and I love the editing even more than I like taking photos.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most of the time, clients ask for simple photo edits. For example, for portrait photos, someone may want blemish removal, teeth whitening, object removal, root touch ups, etc. For landscape photography, a client may ask for noise reduction, color enhancing, clarity, etc. Anything can be done though. I've done Photoshop art for Ads, and created posters from photos in Illustrator. It can never hurt to ask if you're not sure if it can be done.
