Laura has an intimate understanding of the best and most cost-effective way to manufacture your original piece. From the most complex and technically demanding antique reproduction in platinum, to a simple modern piece in platinum or gold, Laura will custom design and create exquisite jewelry, or remodel existing jewelry, for you or your loved one's collection.
Please note that I work in all colors of gold and platinum. I do not work in silver, stainless steel, tungsten or titanium. I am happy to repair or appraise any jewelry that I made, but I do not do repairs or appraisals on any jewelry that I did not make.

I read Laura’s excellent reviews and contacted her with a request to design a unique diamond ring using a special diamond I had inherited. We had a discussion about what I wanted. I was looking to have my wife's almost 25 year old engagement diamond reset into something more modern. I found Laura via Thumbtack and she was very responsive from the first interaction. She invited us down to hear our ideas and was very good at listening vs. trying to convince us to do something we didn't want to do. In the end she created exactly what we were looking for and was able to get it us before we took a vacation just before Christmas which allowed me to surprise my wife with it.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer package discounts with the purchase of a center diamond or gemstone and the custom built piece in which to set it.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A conversation to determine the clients needs and budget, and then a face to face or telephone meeting to select gemstones and discuss the details of the design.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in the industry since 1983 and running my own business since 1990. I was trained at the bench through internship, and at the Gemological Institute of America. I have certification from GIA in diamonds and colored stones and was the sales manager at Tiffany and Company Atlanta in the late 1980's.
