FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the scope, complexity, access, travel, materials, and time required. For many straightforward installations and assembly projects, I can provide pricing from photos and project details. When an on-site assessment is necessary before the work can be accurately quoted, a service/assessment fee may apply. If the customer moves forward with the approved work, that assessment fee is credited toward the labor cost. Any additional work or charges are discussed and approved before proceeding.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first learn exactly what the customer wants completed and review any photos, measurements, product links, or other project details they can provide. When possible, I give a quote based on that information. If the scope needs to be inspected in person, I offer an on-site assessment. Before work begins, I confirm the scope and pricing, complete the project carefully, test or inspect the finished work, and clean the work area before leaving.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is primarily hands-on professional field experience. I have worked extensively in AV, staging, scenic installation, carpentry, equipment assembly, LED systems, technical production, material handling, and installation work. That experience has required safe tool use, accurate measurements, troubleshooting, attention to detail, and working efficiently in professional environments.
