FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Omni Handy Services, I believe in fair, transparent pricing. Every estimate is tailored to the specific project so you know exactly what you’re paying for before we start. Flat rates or project-based quotes: Depending on the job, I’ll provide either a flat rate or a detailed project estimate. Non-refundable deposits: To secure your appointment and materials, a deposit is required and is non-refundable. No hidden fees: The price you see on your estimate is what you pay—no surprises. Satisfaction guaranteed: While deposits are non-refundable, I stand by my work and will make reasonable efforts to resolve any concerns if something isn’t right. This keeps scheduling smooth, ensures materials are covered, and gives every client peace of mind that their project is prioritized.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, my goal is to make the process simple, transparent, and stress-free: Initial Conversation – I listen carefully to your goals, needs, and timeline so I can fully understand the project. Estimate & Options – I provide a clear estimate and explain any options so you can make an informed decision. Scheduling – Once you’re ready to move forward, we confirm a time that works best for you. On-Site Work – I arrive prepared with the right tools and materials, keep you updated throughout the job, and work efficiently to get it done right. Follow-Up – After completion, I make sure everything meets your expectations and answer any questions you may have. My focus is always on clear communication, reliable service, and quality results so you feel confident every step of the way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my training comes from hands-on experience across multiple trades. Over the years, I’ve worked alongside experienced contractors in carpentry, drywall, flooring, electrical, and remodeling, which gave me practical knowledge you can’t always get from a classroom. In addition, I continuously invest in my own growth by: Researching new materials and techniques to stay current. Learning how to troubleshoot and solve problems in real-world situations. Expanding my skills through specialized projects and customer needs. This combination of on-the-job training, mentorship, and self-study has equipped me to handle a wide range of handyman and remodeling tasks with confidence and quality results.
