- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask as many questions before we meet to get the best sense of the job, any pictures of the work is also very helpful so I can figure what I need and what needs to be done. I also look in person what the jobs is, then form a list of materials and plan. Once I have the plan I tell it to the customer if they have anything to add I include that and once everything is settled I start working
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m my day job with Construction, I’ve hung TV’s, computers, mirrors, paintings, marker boards and white boards. I’ve also assembled mounting brackets for tv and computers, assembled desks, chairs, bookcases and tables. I’ve hung, painted and patched drywall. I’ve laid cement blocks, patched damaged blocks and painted them. I’ve poured and formed concrete, as well as patched existing concrete. I’ve installed both wrap around and break away door frames. I’ve Replaced ceiling grid and laid acoustic ceiling tiles. I’ve installed carpeting and baseboards. This work was done mostly in school or school athletic facilities mostly in NE Georgia
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve been working in construction for three years now. I thought I should take the skills and knowledge I’ve learned at work and use them to work for myself and expand my knowledge and skills
