Plagued with headaches, chest pains, and abdominal pains, I visited every doctor one can think of. No one could tell me what was wrong with me and painted a picture of perfect health. However, the pains persisted. Then, I met Dr. Rick at a health fair. I have always been skeptical of chiropractors, but his explanation of how the spine works helped open my mind to the practice. I have been visiting Dr. Rick for about three months, and the pains are slowly but surely subsiding. The headaches are less frequent, the chest pains are weakening, and the abdominal pains have lessened. Dr. Rick has excellent bedside manner; he is very personable, and he makes me feel comfortable. He is highly recommended!

Fantastic chiropractor right on i85. Very personable and friendly and professional and above all genuine and knows his stuff. No over sell just a great chiropractor. I’ve been looking for 8 years since i moved to ga. I’m very fussy and know quality when i see it. I recommend highly.

Dr. Dowell is fantastic! I was having consistent lower back and leg pain, until I started seeing him regularly. I'm very nervous when it comes to dealing with doctors, so he takes the extra moment or two to calm me down and make sure I'm comfortable before he starts my sessions. I can't recommend him highly enough! From the moment you have your first consultation, it will be obvious to you that he only has your best interests in mind. I'll never go to another chiropractor as long as I live within a 50 mile radius of Dr. Dowell

Frank from New Jersey in Atlanta January 2014, had discomfort neck & shoulder. Given name of Dowel Family Wellness upon visit, Dr. Dowell made some adjustment to which I felt so relieved Dr. Dowell informed me to see a doctor when I returned home. New Jersey a few days later received call from Dr. Dowell, referred me to Dr. D'Angiolillo in Somerset, N.J. he called him giving him my prognosis. Dr. D'Angiolillo treated me for over twelve weeks, Wow I feel so much better. I'm so thankful for Dr. Dowell and his diligence and direction along with Dr. D'Angiolillo. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We accept most insurance plans as well as offer affordable cash plans for our patients. Most patients can expect to pay between $30-35 per visit at our office.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing that we will want to do is evaluate the condition of your spine to see if chiropractic is a viable option for your issues. We will conduct an in-depth consultation, orthopedic and neurologic exams, digital posture assessments and computerized nerve scans. The combination of these procedures insure that we are correctly diagnosing your problems. No guesswork. We don't 'pop and pray'.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Dr. Rick has a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University. In addition, he has several hours of technique-specific training over his 20 years in practice.
