FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have 30 years experience and a world class design education that I got at the New York School of Interior Design. I offer premium design services at affordable rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with potential new clients to make sure that we are a good match. This can be accomplished in 30 minutes or so, or over a quick phone call. I take my commitments very seriously and delivering on promises is the key to maintaining integrity and trust. It's important to insure that expectations are achievable and there is a meeting of the minds before work starts or an agreement is offered. Beyond this, I follow the standard design process for any project which includes: 1.) conducting an inventory of wants, needs and existing conditions. 2.) concept determination and development 3.) design development 4.) approval of design intent 5.) creation of necessary drawings 6.) pricing and bidding 7.) execution of design and placing orders 8.) installation 9.) follow up, fine tuning and post occupancy evaluation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended the New York School of Interior Design from 1991 to 1995 where I completed bachelor level coursework. I spent over 30 years working in the interior design industry in NYC including working for top fashion houses, celebrities and politicians. I also have a degree in psychology from Dallas County Community College Richland campus.
