PRICING:
We offer two–to six-men labor options, a 26' truck with blankets, shrink wrap, dollies, tape, and furniture assembly at no additional charge!
We charge hourly with a one-time travel charge. There is no additional charge for stairs or steep driveways. We also provide options for junk removal.
We do not move oversized items such as pianos, intact pool tables, hot tubs, or vending machines.

The Precious Cargo movers were awesome! I had 3 movers for a large one bedroom apt with loft that was my daughter's bedroom. We had about 24 pieces of furniture counting w/d and patio furniture. They were extremely organized and professional. I had a LOT of bags and they even moved the bags along with any other miscellaneous items. We lost time in traffic but they still worked to the last second! They unpacked me in the nick of time and assembled beds and unloaded truck. This saved me extra expense because I budgeted a four-hour move but it was five hours. I will definitely use them again. Terri

We had a huge 4 bedroom house plus basement to move. Originally we had just 2 guys, but when they saw the amount of furniture and other items to move, they recommended we add a third mover, which we did. These 3 guys worked all day, up and down many flights of stairs, and they took great care of all of our belongings. No damages, no issues. It took much longer than we had anticipated, but that was through no fault of theirs. We were very happy with the service and would recommend them again.

I have no connection with this company. I have never used movers before either. The rate was outstanding and they had better reviews than some other competitors... so I decided to give them a chance. They came a few minutes late which is fine because it was raining and they called to tell me they were behind (much appreciated). They were all responsible and seemed to care not to damage my low end furniture. They had to really work to get a couple of couches up some stairs and through tight spaces. I would definitely use them again.

Awesome experience. The movers were on time, polite, careful, and moved quickly. There was no damage to any of my belongs. They loaded and unloaded nearly a full truck load in exactly 4 hours. Great value! I'd definitely recommend Precious Cargo Movers to my friends and family.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Precious Cargo Movers charge an hourly rate and require a 2-3 hour minimum depending on location. After reaching your minimum, you will be charged in 15-minute increments. We also charge a one-time travel charge.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We consult with each client to learn the type of move, dates, and locations that they are moving to and from. We will then ask the number of bedrooms to assess the labor needs. We will also as about elevator access and stairs. Information on the amount of furniture can also be helpful in assessing the labor required for the move.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been in the moving business for 12 years and are licensed with the State of Georgia.
