My name is Sarah Parker, and I'm the photographer behind Sarah E. Parker Photography! Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved being in front of and behind a camera. I love the significance of capturing a moment, especially the moments that mean something. My favorite photos are those that capture memories and moments that make your stomach flip, widen your smile, bring tears to your eyes, fill you with joy and make you stop and stare. These are my favorite because they are real. So much of what we see every day has been edited, filtered, sugarcoated or diluted. That's not what I'm about. I'm about authenticity. I believe that the best photos stem from genuine emotion and interactions. If I have the privilege of photographing you, I'll approach the session like we're friends. I'll walk alongside you, try to make you laugh (occasionally I'm funny), celebrate our time together, and - most importantly - document the truth of each minute. Ultimately, my hope for any photo I take is that it's as beautiful today as it is 50 years from now, and that the photo sparks the emotion you felt while it was being taken.
