How much does upholstery repair cost?

Furniture upholstery services cost $360, on average. The average cost range is $249-$454, but prices can range from $55 to over $3,000.

Various factors will drive the cost up and down, including the type of furniture, its details and material. Get personalized price quotes from upholstery repair services near you.

How much does it cost to repair a couch?

It can cost anywhere from $55-$300 to repair furniture, such as a couch. However, most people spend $100-$150 on furniture repairs. Ultimately, how much you’ll pay to fix a broken couch will depend on the specific repairs needed, the couch’s size and other factors. That’s why you should always get cost estimates from several repair services to find out how much it’ll cost to repair your couch or sofa.

What does it cost to reupholster furniture?

Most people pay between $249-$454 for upholstery service. Prices can range from $55 to over $3,000. You can get personalized cost estimates for your furniture by contacting professionals on Thumbtack

Give the pros details about your furniture. For example, do you need a couch, loveseat, dining chairs, armchair, recliner and car seat reupholstered? How many pieces of furniture do you have? And what’s the material? These details can help the pro accurately estimate the cost to reupholster your furniture.

Is it cheaper to reupholster or buy new furniture?

It may be cheaper to reupholster your sofa, chairs and other furniture instead of buying new pieces. However, you’ll need to do a bit of research to be sure.

First, get cost estimates from upholstery professionals in your area. Then, compare the cost of reupholstery to the cost of buying new furniture. If it’s cheaper to reupholster the pieces than buy new sets, book an appointment with the pro who provides the best price.

I had a water leak and had to get carpet replaced, hole in dry wall repaired and room re-painted and sealing of the shower. I was pleased with the service and they did a good job, quickly, and left me with good peace of mind since I was not present during the time the work was being performed. Chris was responsive and quickly gave me an estimate where as other companies were not as responsive to give me an estimate or were not confident in working on a high rise building. I would for sure use Total Services Restoration again in the future.

I had a really great experience with Sick Building Group. Anthony and his associate came right over when I called, and were able to start immediately on a time-sensitive project. Anthony explained every aspect of the process to me, so that I felt well-informed about what I was paying for. He did a beautiful job of transforming my sick crawl space back into a clean, healthy environment. His associate, Brent, did the restoration work, and he was quite the perfectionist. The tile that he laid on the new floor looks absolutely fantastic. I feel that Sick Builders went beyond the call of duty to get the job done, working evenings, and making themselves available after hours to answer my questions. Anthony gave me a nice discount to make the job affordable, and gave me a little bit of time to pay it off. Nobody wants to pay for mold removal, but If you have to do it, Anthony and Sick builders are the people to call.

I AM VERY VERY DISSAPOINTED IN CIFFORD INGRAM. I had some water damage at my home and called Clifford Ingram the CEO at Flood Medics Restoration Services LLC to come dry my home out. Clifford gave me a quote of $1,800 and said I had to put down half ($900) for the work to start. I paid the deposit promptly asked. After he got the home dried out I decided to file a claim with my insurance company because I had significant damage with my floors and ceilings. After I filed the claim Clifford, billed the insurance company about $7,000 (more than what he quoted me) and received payment from them. I have tried to get my $900 deposit back from Clifford for months now…I have called and emailed him and the company over 20 times and they have refused to call me back or pay me back my $900. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN CLIFFORD AND HIS COMPANY THAT THEY TOOK MY $900 AFTER GETTING PAID MORE THAN ENOUGH FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY. I HAVE LOST ALL TRUST WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND WILL NEVER USE THEM OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE I KNOW. CLIFFORD IF YOU ARE READING THIS PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME AND PAY ME MY MONEY. THANKS
