Introduction: About Danny Tarpley: I am the President of the Georgia Professional Tennis Association (GPTA), and I currently work as an independent tennis Professional in the area from Betsy Grant Tennis Center in Buckhead to Alpharetta, GA. I hold a GPTCA Level-A certification (17 in the USA, 93 globally) and a USPTA Elite Pro and Etchenberry Sports Trainer certification. I am the ONLY ATP Master Professional in Georgia, one of three in the south, and former Director of Tennis at the Concourse Athletic Club before the pandemic. (One of the top 10 Athletic Clubs in the USA) I am a former D-1 All-American and touring professional. I am a seasoned professional who has taught players from beginners to the top 10 in the world. I have coached numerous City Championship teams for both ALTA and the USTA. I am patient and use targets while teaching you proper footwork, court positioning, point of contact, and strategy. I will teach you how to succeed and win in this game of a lifetime. I offer private, semi-private, private group, and team coaching. My Lesson Pricing $70 an hour for a private lesson $75 an hour for a Semi-Private Group & Team Lessons are $25 per person for 3+ with a max of 8 people. I offer series of lessons. 6 lessons paid up-front is 10% Off = $378 Private / $405 Semi -Private 10 lessons paid up-front is 15% Off = $595 Private / $638 Semi - Private Gift Certificates are available for your gift-giving pleasure. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $70 an hour for a private and $75 for a semi-private lesson, paid each time you have a lesson. I accept Cash, Venmo, Zelle, Pay-Pal, Square and all major credit card's. NO Checks, please! 24-hour notice is needed to cancel a lesson or you will be charged in full for the lesson.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will speak with you about your goals and background and what you are wishing to achieve in the near and long-term with your tennis game. I will then hit with you and access your current level of play. After that I then start making a lesson plan for you personally on how to improve your game and what steps we need to take to help you reach your goals.
