- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
People ask us all the time, "Why should we do business with Appnet New Media Studio?" Our honest answer is that we don't know that you should, unless and until we can have a short, discovery conversation to determine what your needs are and quote a price for it. Contrary to what some web design firms will tell you - there is NO "one-size-fits-all" minimum price or package for web design or development projects. Building a website - no matter how small or large - is like building a home. Pricing for new web design has everything to do with the number of pages you need, the options and choices you make, and more. We've built small websites for $500 and we also currently work with firms that spend in excess of $200K annually. We try our best to make it our job to help each prospective client (YOU) to get the answers and intel you need to make an informed decision - even if that means that you don't do business with us. Our concept is simple, really. Everything is about being a best FIT. Our profile, number of hires, hundreds of reviews and 4.8-4.9 of 5 star rating - as well as 30+ years of experience and 20-person team makes us a GREAT fit. However, part of being a fit IS price. If you'll take a moment and speak with a member of our team, you'll find Appnet's pricing probably right in the middle of quotes you'll receive and yet our service is always THE BEST and we develop websites that procude results - making your investment pay off. Perhaps the "biggest lie" on the internet about web design and SEO is being propagated by large, national outfits and international outsourcers who claim that you can be seen on Google, Yahoo and more with a small, 3-4 page website. It simply does not work that way for web design. Our approach to web design is simple - we want to help our customers get the website they need at the lowest cost, and also provide the knowledge our customers need to understand how to cultivate their websites to be the most productive resource for generating new business.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our 30+ years has helped us find the best process for communicating our client's wishes for their website. Simply put, we listen to your wishes for your web design, web development and SEO project. We make suggestions. Ultimately, you're the boss of the web design project and we put your ideas to paper in the form of a "Scope of Work" document. Then we work with you to gain access to whatever imagery and text we need to design and build your website. We create layouts and proofs for you to look over. Once approved, we develop the website and take it LIVE. We provide walk-throughs and even tutorial videos to show you how to control the content on your new website.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our 20-member team has a combined 125+ years of experience in the industry of web design and search engine optimization. Our 30+ years in the business means that Appnet has been in business longer than there's been "a Google". Our experienced team is highly trained to be able to complete any sized web design project (small or large) and yet we are small enough to provide the kind of personal attention and communication you should want and expect.
