Mary's passion for dance led her to become an award-winning competition dancer.
Driven by her love for the performing arts, Mary explored the realm of theater. She graced the stage, showcasing her acting skills in musicals and local productions, captivating audiences with her talent. She then followed her passion for acting and taking a leap of faith, she packed her bags and headed to New York City to refine her craft.
Mary's journey eventually brought her to Atlanta, where she's been working on various film projects since 2016.
Now, Mary has joyfully returned to her first love—dance. Sharing her wealth of experience and expertise, she takes delight in instructing couples from around the world. We had the best time choreographing our first dance with Mary! We did a 10 lesson package to choreograph an elaborate and intricate 1st dance for a song that was 4 & 1/2 minutes long - quite the effort! My (now husband) and I were worried about getting it all done since we’d picked such a long song, but Mary knew exactly what she was doing. She kept us on track, was always prepared, and we were fully choreographed in time to still have a few lessons fully dedicated to repetition and cleaning right before the wedding. We even had time to practice in some skirts / dresses that simulated the style of my wedding dress without revealing anything to my husband (I highly recommend that btw, it was very informative for us). Mary was so helpful, fun, and patient throughout the process. We started with the basics and got more technical with time as we became comfortable in our abilities. She brought the most amazing ideas & plans for us and was also very collaborative! If we had thoughts / ideas / concerns, she welcomed them with open arms and we worked together to find the best combos that worked for us and our vision. She also had a great read on what would or wouldn’t be possible based on our venue, my dress, or even our own abilities. She was not afraid to say, “hey - you guys are killing this, what do you think about leveling it up even more” or “this move might be difficult with the restriction of your sleeves so let’s rethink it so that you don’t run into any issues on the day”.
Above all else, I cannot speak enough about how much fun we had with Mary. We genuinely looked forward to all of our lessons and were so sad when they were all done. Each lesson was such a fun part of our week. Not only was it wonderful for us to spend this time together leading up to the wedding, but also we loved hanging out with Mary! She brings such great energy and positivity and is just a joy to be around. We enjoyed our time with her so much that we booked some additional sessions for her to choreograph the mother/son dance for my husband and mother-in-love. Mary worked to coordinate the two dances so that they did not feel too similar and had the right vibe that we were looking for but were also complimentary of one another. It was amazing to us that she was able to seamlessly craft a dance in an entirely different style for the mother / son dance that was still just as beautiful as our first dance! My mother-in-love was so impressed that she then booked some more sessions to work on general dancing with my father-in-love and brother-in-love to just use on the dance floor as they pleased. Across several different people with varying abilities and dancing interests, every single person loved working with her. What I am saying is, Mary can do it all. From specific choreographed dances to general dance knowledge - she has you covered. We cannot recommend her enough. If you are debating anything at all, I am here to tell you that it is SO worth it. We are now almost a month out from our wedding and our family & friends are STILL talking about our dances. The feeling of performing it in front of everyone (which was a surprise to all of our guests and I highly recommend doing it that way) and seeing their reactions was unmatched. It was a core memory moment from our wedding day and something that we will carry on as a tradition for each of our anniversaries. Thank you Mary for being such an integral part of our wedding and for helping us celebrate not only on the big day but also in all of the time leading up to it!

Mary was a wonderful dance instructor for our wedding dance! We did 5 lessons with her and both felt great by the wedding day and the dance went perfectly. It was a fun date night leading up to the wedding and Mary does a great job coming up with a fun first dance!

One of the BEST pre-wedding decision we could have made! Taking first dance lessons not only helped feel confident for our big day, but was a great way to connect and de-stress from wedding planning and over all life! Mary was an ABSOLUTE gem, truly wish we could figure out other events to learn dances for so we can keep taking lessons from her! Don’t think about it any further just book your first lesson and go from there!

Mary is the absolute best dance instructor! Neither one of us were dancers and we were really nervous about what to expect. Mary was able to ease all our nerves and help us learn a dance that we were comfortable with very fast. Not only is she super nice, but so easy to understand. She is able to change the lesson to your speed and help you along the way. We are so glad we did dance lessons and it was one of the best parts about our wedding. I think that it has more to do with Mary than anything else. We had so many people asking us if we were dancers … I guess we just had a really good instructor. If you’re thinking about lessons, just do it, you won’t regret it. The picture below was right after our dance and we were on cloud nine.

Working with Mary was absolutely amazing! It was hands down the best decision we could have made. We were overjoyed with the outstanding service we received, and let me tell you, everyone was left completely speechless by our extraordinary performance at our wedding.
