Vincent is a gem. He arrived when he said he would, he assessed the project and got to it. His prices are very reasonable and he was a joy to work with. We'll be bringing him back next week for another project. I HIGHLY recommend him to everyone.

I am very, very disappointed in the work. I expected the shutters to be hung with the black posts, not silver nails. On top of that, the tenant told Vincent that she DID NOT approve, & he failed to relay that information to me. He got paid upfront for substandard work. Will NEVER hire him again.

Rachel I sent you the pics of this job when I completed the job & I called you & explained to you the rivets were broken so I used screws what i had (texted msg. dated (4/18/2019). You don't remember? And i showed it to your tenant who had no issue before i left because she came out sweeping dust where i was working and i asked her not to do that while im trying to work. I took a chance on going with Vincent. Needless to say it was a big disappointment. This handyman is unprofessional and the quality of his work is poor.
It was a simple job, I needed him to repair the front door panel and apply sheetrock mud on one side. He started that process in which needed to be done in phases since it was going to take a few days for the mud to dry. Then, he was supposed to replace a bathroom door in which he took the measurements, so I purchased the door from Home Depot based on his measurements. Then, he tells me after he drilled holes in the new bathroom door, that it does not fit. Needless to say, I could not return it. I had also planned to have him replace a window, but decided to go another route on the window, because I could not find one based on his measurements.
He had already given me a written itemized price upfront to complete each task, excluding materials, i.e. bathroom door and window. He provided a small section of wood that was installed on front door panel and I purchased the sheetrock mud. No problem!
Once I told him that I was going another route with the window install, he upped the price on replacing the bathroom door from $60, his words via text "its going to change the price because I don't know what hat all I've got to do to make it fit. He claimed that he would try to keep it @$25 extra but it may be as much as $100 more just to be up front with you which means $160 max to install the bathroom door." Well, since he measured the door, it should have been the right fit.
The hat I expected Vincent to wear is one he wore when I hired him!!! In my opinion, if he could not do the job he should not have taken it, at least not drill holes in a new door that did not fit. After a phone exchange, he got mad and told me to find someone else! I asked if he could please finish the job. He opted to only finish the front door and for me to get someone else for the rest of the work. After thinking about it, I decided to do just that, get someone else to finish all of the work. BUYER BE WARE!!! If you want a professional handyman go with someone else.

I did what she paid me for which was to repair front door frame which had been kicked in. I offered to return to do minor detail to finish but Karen said she had some one else. I told her the price to install her door but she started a argument so I told her get some one else.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My service is dependable and making the customer happy is my priority. It cost me gas, time & wear & tear on my vehicle to go to a customer location & because of that it's a fee to give an estimate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to first respond to the customer msg. and ask the customer to contact them. I also offer free estimates to my customers if they select me for the job. It's a fee if I give the estimate and someone else does the work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing handyman work for 4 years. I started in Atlanta and I have provided customers with satisfying results.
