It would be impossible for me to recommend Angela as an event and wedding photographer highly enough. When my husband and I began interviewing wedding photographers in 2013 for our only daughter's wedding scheduled for May, 2014, we took the traditional route of assuming we would go with the big name in our small town photographers for this once in a lifetime event. While their studios were impressive and their wedding work was traditionally beautiful, my daughter and I just never got the feeling of "This is the one." My husband and I are entrepreneurs and our daughter was bitten by the same bug. All three of us wanted to work with an individual with the same non bureaucratic personality. We wanted a think on your feet, go with the flow and make the necessary adjustments as situations arose photographer who would enjoy being an integral part of our event without checking their watch every five minutes. As an old event planner, I am very hands on, so I knew that I wanted to work with a photographer whose ego could handle direction as well as someone without rigid ideas who would remain flexible throughout the event and not get bogged down in the minutiae of the contract. Angela was everything we wanted. Not only was she willing to think outside the box for so many of our ideas and shots, she did a great deal of research on our outdoor and indoor locations, visiting several times a day for trial shots of her own to determine the best time of the day regarding lighting. She helped us back into our wedding time and event schedule to capture the best light of the day. Angela handled our separate engagement, bridal and wedding shoots and helped to make all three experiences so much fun for our daughter and her fiancé. Her shots were beautifully romantic and traditional when appropriate, quirky when requested, and above all, creative with a not so typical eye. Angela was graciously professional as well as engaging and just plain fun for my daughter and her young professional crowd to work with. She had the ability to speak the same language as my twenty something recent college grad wedding party and pick up on and nail what my daughter was looking for very quickly. Angela kindly agreed to a trial photo shoot with my daughter and her fiancé for a very reasonable fee at our venue. (We actually did four of these with different photographers in order to determine who to use.). When my daughter saw Angela's work, she almost immediately said, "She's the one!" Angela never rushed us or reacted negatively to any of our crazy suggestions. She only made them better. I have no doubt that she took a great deal more time with us and jumped through many more hoops than we could, or should have ever expected from any other photographer. Our wedding guests were very complimentary of her work and commented often on her professionalism and warm accommodation of their own quirky requests at the wedding reception. Prices depend on many factors such as location, number of people, number of photos wanted, set up needed, time that may be involved, if/how many assistants may be needed. The price list on my website is therefore only a general guide. I normally need to speak with someone about all the details before I can give them a definite price.

I fell in love with the art of photography at age 11 and that love kept growing! After years of people telling me I should be doing it professionally, I finally decided to listen!
