We provide roofing, gutters, and siding repairs and complete replacement services. As well as design and build decks, privacy fences, and patio awnings. We provide free estimates for full replacements in Columbus, GA, Harris Co. and Phenix City, AL, which can provide without site visit and send via email. For on site consultation we charge $40, that is discounted if hired. For repairs that require on site diagnosis and inspection for cost estimate, an up front deposit of $65 locally is reuqire. For estimates for roof leaks and other repairs outside Columbus, Ga. and surrounding area, $100 up front service fee is required for inspection diagnosis and tarp coverage if needed.
During our consultation prior to service agreement we can answer any questions and provide product samples, as well as describe how our installations in these 3 services are better than the competition. In most cases provide a price and service agreement for your approval. We can even show you what possible colors and materials options will look like on your home before you make that important decision.
I enjoy working with people to improve or upgrade their home, and helping make sure we can repair or restore it as well in the event diaster strikes. As well as providing solutions to things that are damaging over time. I enjoy the smile and joy it brings the customers knowing they made the right choice on their contractor.

After posting on Thumbtack, Shane from Weather Shielders contacted us right away. I told them my mother had a leak dripping from her ceiling off and on since Christmas. It all started after the heavy rain we received in Columbus. Shane called us right away and it was a very rainy Saturday afternoon. He said he would come right over to inspect the roof and we so impressed that they were willing to do this in the rain. Shane and his associate were very polite and knowledgeable They thoroughly explained the condition of our mother's roof and gave her detailed explanation of the problem. They also did a thorough inspection of the whole roof and attic space to make sure there was no other damage. He gave us a professional and detailed printed estimate that included exactly what she would get and the cost. They told her they could repair the roof the next day, which was a Sunday and usually their day off. Shane and his associate arrived the next morning and worked hard most of the day to complete the job. I feel Shane and his associate were very honest , trustworthy and did Quality work. We will definitely call them again if needed. Thank Weather Shielders!

I was able to get a person to look at my roof where I had a leak for a couple of years when it rained hard. He did a patchwork on the leak and charged me a very reasonable amount. He also said to contact him if it still leaked. I am so thankful that I got this particular item off my "to do" list. I am very satisfied and give the job 5 stars! James L.

Shane did an awesome job on our roof and awning. His prices are very reasonable and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who has a need for an roofing and siding work. He is very honest and wont sell you something that is not needed! Give WeatherShielders a call, you wont be disappointed!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Minimum service calls on minor repairs are $75.
Estimates are free for complete roof, gutters, decks, fences and siding project installs & replacement in Columbus and Phenix City. Outside those are $25 which will go towards your Jon should you hire us.
Materials cost are due prior to work starting.
Labor cost are due upon completion.
All estimates are subject to change if more work or materials not priced is required pending your approval.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customers can contact us through thumbtack, call, email or schedule at home consultation for your Estimate, then come out for your home consultation where we take measurements as necessary and provide samples and discuss options, a service agreement signed, materials paid for, work completed, final LABOR payment upon completion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We've been in business since 2007, and prior to that owner has exp and everyone employed is experienced. Owner has OSHA 30hr safety training. College degree in computer aided drafting and print reading.
