FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A lot of my family are painters, so it was kind of natural for me to become one myself. I started working summers for my father's paint company when I was 13 and that's how I learned the ropes. I turned 16 and started working full time and I have been a painter ever since.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs I do is really split between interior and exterior work. I get inside work such as walls and trim, but I also receive a lot of exterior jobs. Mold and mildew that needs to be bleached clean and then painted. So I see a lot of both.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get more than one painter to come and give you an estimate and don't always judge the kind of job you think they will do just through their price. Look at them as a whole, their attitude, the way they talk to you about the job, particular phrases they may use to describe what they will do in painting your home. Do that and you should be able to tell a real painter from someone just after your money and doesn't care about the way their work will look. Also, if you get more than one painter to give you an estimate price please remember - the cheapest price isn't always the way to go. The lowest price could mean the lowest quality.
