Initial Consultation – I want you to feel totally comfortable booking my services, which is why I offer a free, no-obligation consultation. I typically conduct these initial consultations via Skype, FaceTime, or phone, but if you would prefer to meet the in person we can certainly do so. I will hold your wedding date for 10 days after our conversation. This should give you plenty of time to decide about using my services. Planning Meeting – After our you click hire I will be in touch to schedule a planning meeting. This meeting normally happens in person, but it can also be done via video or phone call as well. I will ask you questions about what you feel is important to include in your ceremony and get to know the two of you and learn about your relationship. This information will help me in writing your ceremony to make sure it reflects your expectations and personalities. Ceremony Editing – Following our planning meeting, I will write a full draft of your ceremony and email it to you for your review. You can revise your draft ceremony as much as you’d like until it is the exact wedding ceremony you want, and then simply email your edited draft back to me. I want it to feel perfect – if you need additional suggestions or guidance, I am happy to help at no additional charge. The Rehearsal &/or Ceremony! – I will arrive at your rehearsal &/or wedding early to help coordinate with your attendants and vendors and get ready for the ceremony. I am more than happy to work with other wedding professionals, and I'm perfectly comfortable with photographers taking pictures anywhere they would like during the ceremony. I will deliver the exact ceremony we discussed, and will create a wonderful experience for you and your guests. The Marriage License – Although it’s your responsibility to get the marriage license before the wedding, I will take care of signing it afterward and filing it with the proper office. You’ll also get a copy of the license for you to keep, in case you need it for your records or on your honeymoon.

So why spend the money on a professional officiant when you have a family member or friend ready to fill that role? Deciding whether to hire professional vendors for your wedding isn't something to be taken lightly - the professionals (or non-professionals) working at your wedding will have a major impact on your wedding day. Professional photographers, videographers, DJs, officiants, and florists have the experience to handle common, but unexpected, situations that often come up at weddings. How would Uncle Jim react if the flowers or decorations behing him blew over just after the ceremony began? How would he react if one of your guests or a member of your wedding party fainted during your vows? Would he be able to take with the unexpected in stride without getting flustered or thrown off for the rest of your ceremony? From nearly 20 years of experience officiating weddings I have seen these things and much, much, more - the best way to ensure that your wedding ceremony goes off without a hitch is to hire a professional wedding officiant. When it comes to weddings, and especially performing ceremonies, experience and talent matters. Hiring a professional wedding officiant isn't a decision you'll regret after your ceremony,
