Kim Kennedy was hired as the Weekend Wedding Manager for our son's wedding to relieve me (Mom) of wedding planner duties on the big day. Kim was the absolute best investment they could have made. Her project management skills, attention to detail, accessibility, flexibility and calm disposition were invaluable. Her seamless execution of activities and task flow between the ceremony and reception venues was exceptional. Follow-up and communication with all of the service vendors was timely. Any questions or concerns we had were promptly addressed. She is the best!
Kim took all of the stress out of wedding planning. She was there every step of the way and went above and beyond to ensure my day went smoothly. I don’t think it could have been any more perfect and it was really all thanks to her.

Its been a little over a week, and I am still not sure I can articulate how professional, kind, thorough, and a true blessing Kim was to work with during this entire process. We first contacted Yours Truly Events about 4 months before our big day, when our previous planner fell through. From conception, we knew that this was the right company to move forward with. Kim was quickly able to help us secure a venue that encompassed all of our needs. She handled all of our anxiety, frustrations, and confusion with so much grace. She stayed in constant communication and truly took the weight of wedding planning off of our shoulders. The day of our wedding we had a MUA cancel, and within moments a new one was booked and on the way to the venue. We believe you should always know where you stand, so we keep our pricing clear and honest. We offer three levels of support: Wedding Coordination starting at $2995, Partial Planning starting at $4295, and Full-Service Planning starting at $9995. Your final investment depends on your guest count, venue, and how much support you'd like, and there are no hidden fees. After a relaxed call to learn about your plans, we'll send a custom proposal and walk through it with you, so every number makes sense. We also offer payment plans to make things easier.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
From the very start, we take the time to understand what matters most to you and the people you love. Then we guide you step by step: first your vendor team, then design, then logistics. You’ll share your Pinterest board and ideas, and we’ll really listen. You’ll also receive custom monthly checklists built around your wedding date, so you always know what’s coming next. Your family is welcome every step of the way. On your wedding day, we handle every detail so you can be fully present and enjoy it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Kim spent years in corporate events, planning trade shows and leading logistics for complex, high-stakes programs. That experience taught her how to build clear systems, manage many moving pieces, and stay calm when plans change. She keeps learning through wedding industry education, including Planner's Vault and industry conferences, so our team stays current on trends, design, and best practices.
