We attended a Casino Night Fundraiser that Dave and the "After Hours" Band were playing. Wow! Observing the skill set of the band playing the instruments became more entertaining than the Casino games. The music paired perfectly with the essence of the event. The vocals were beautiful and the music they played was wonderful! The event entertained a mixed (generation) crowd. Pleasing a mixed generation audience can be difficult. However, this band had no trouble finding the perfect balance for an audience ranging from 21 years old to 80 years young. The "Perennial's" view of the music was that it was beautiful, classic, and easy listening. The "millennial's" view of the music was that it was classy, relaxing/calming, and overall amazing to listen to. The friends/guest I brought with me to the event had a great time and loved the band. I would love to know if this band performs at any public venues in the future. I could listen to them for hours.
This band provided an "Original American Art" in its best form!
Thank you Dave Lockwood and the After Hours Band for a great night out!

Dave and the band were amazing!!! Our fundraiser was a huge success, partly due to them. Most of the donations we collected, were from guest that wanted to stick around longer just to hear the band. All of our guest complimented and even asked “how soon could you have them perform again?” Everyone loved the music! Dave and the After Hours Band, did not disappoint and even went beyond what they were hired to do. I would hire them again and again!
Music/Communication/Responsiveness:
Amazing music! Very responsive, polite, and willing to work around any obstacles leading up to the event. During the process of hiring, I mentioned a song I really loved. Dave remembered the discussion and made sure to play the song during the evening, without request.
Value/Price:
I had a limited expectation based on the reasonable price I was quoted but I had a good feeling about them. The band more than exceeded my expectations. In quality/value, I got 2X what I paid for their service. The old saying "You get what you pay for" in terms of choosing the lesser priced option, was not true in my case when hiring Dave.
Punctuality/Quality/Professionalism:
All band members were set up and ready to go before the scheduled time we contracted. Actually, I was late to my own event and the band got the party going and kept my guest happy until I arrived...not even part of our contract but they cared about keeping the guest “in the mood” and happy. Honestly, my guest never even noticed I was late...the only questions i received after my arrival were, “where did you find this band?”
Thank you all for your performance at our event. I can't wait to do it again!
