- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Time and material unless other wise agreed upon by both parties.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Travel to location talk to owner and look at the scope of work to be done. 2) Make a materials list and discuss a timeline for repair with owner then get a draw for materials or a deposit on the job. 3) order parts from the supplier and set schedule for install date and organize all details in order to complete the job at the agreed time. Some jobs can be done the same day. 4) Collect final payment and discuss all details of the job with Customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the industry for over 20 years. I have extensive experience in the handyman field. That doesn't mean I know everything but it does mean I know how to find out the answer to just about anything. Most residential plumbing is easy to do with a basic understanding of the plumbing trade. At times plumbing can be quite time-consuming and require some specialized knowledge.
