There were two people who answered the phone on two desperate occasions when I called that were very professional. However Im not sure the movers they sent were qualified. Even though I had my own tarps and purchased extra wrapping supplies from the company. My glass dinette was not wrapped. 3 of my 6 mattress sets were not wrapped. My box spring was punctured due to it not being wrapped and the bed frames not being folded down and placed in the unit fully assembled. Ryan told me they dont move portable basketball hoops when he was onsite. So my childrens $280 hoop is still at our old house. The lady on site cleaning the boxspring told me oh its ok its the part on the bottom no one can see that. ( I know its there and my sets were under a year old.) The young man helping her was getting upset with my frustration and said I was blaming Ryan the mover for everything and when I asked him to repeat what he said he wouldnt. My sofa arm was snagged when they placed the unit in the storage unit. Initially when I called the owners seemed like they wanted to resolve the issues. I asked them to wait until all the items were removed from storage so I can tell them all damages as opposed to what I saw the moment I checked the unit. I asked them to have the mattresses cleaned as a start only if they didnt show any signs of bed buds from not being wrapped up. When I the day came for me to move I asked them to come see the way my things were packed so they wouldnt be confused about who caused damages. (Them moving me in or someone moving me out) They sent 3 people the owners niece and 2 people to clean the mattresses while in the storage unit. Even after I told them I wanted them to clean them when I moved them to my home. Becuse cleaning a bed which is now wet and wrapping it in plastic immediately after can cause mold or mildew. Well that day they didnt offer any restitution for any of the other damages and half way cleaned my matresses. I followed up with asking again what happens to the replacement of my boxsrping and the repair of my sofa chair arm and still no reply. Im not saying things dont happen but as a business when you show me you want to make excuses for your mistake and not satisfy the customers request to correct your error. When you have a manager and staff that go back and forth with a customer rather than fixing the problem I dont care how well two of the staff were during the Initial calls, if the mission,morals or lack there of by the company are are missing. They should acknowledge and want to correct feedback that will make them better. Its easy to be great to gain business but you see a companys character after they have your money. Im extremely disappointed and wouldnt recommend this company for any moves outside of trash removal. If you have anything of value dont call them. My things were just thrown in the unit and not wrapped properly and some not wrapped at all. Still no reply to rectify my issues.

The movers told me they would take my couch to goodwill or dispose of it at no extra charge They left the couch by the dumpster of my condominiums. I am extremely disappointed with MJC Movers. They left me in a really bad spot and did not return my calls. This is Not how you "dispose" of a couch. I called the company twice telling them that movers left the couch by the dumpster and I needed it moved that day. I was told they would look into it and call me back. They never did. Residents emailed the property manager and I received phone calls saying the couch needed to be moved. I learned that someone told them they couldn't leave the couch there, and they left it anyway. I called MJC Movers a couple more times. They did not answer. I had to rent a uhaul the next morning and take the couch 5 miles up the road myself and dispose of it properly at a transfer station. They really caused me alot of stress and headache. If they weren't going to dispose of it properly or take it to the goodwill they could have left the couch with me as I had scheduled for the salvation army to get it. I am alarmed at how unprofessional this company is, their lack of customer care, and their refusal to correct their mistakes.

I will definitely hire this company again. Reasons why I hired them: their workers are not contractors, they are employees of the company; the reviews were great; Mike was professional over the phone and answered questions that I had about the company. These two men (I wish I would have written down their names but they worked on April 2, 2019 in Flowery Branch, GA) worked hard for 3 hours straight non-stop. We had to offer them water. I asked them if they needed to take a minute but they said they were okay. Let me tell you--they moved all of our furniture, appliances, and boxes down three flights of stairs and didn't miss a beat. They were respectful, on time, courteous, and professional. They did not move us from one place to another. My husband and I hired them for labor only. We were moving out and so needed them to load our Uhaul. Not many companies do that. Because I do not carry cash, I could not tip them. I did however leave to buy them both lunch at Chik Fil A. I would highly recommend this company and the crew I had. I did take pics of them working and will upload them when I figure out how to do that.

If there was a negative star option, I would give this company exactly that. Do not go by the reviews and think youll be hiring such highly rated movers. I did exactly that and I company regret it now. They were so unprofessional and broke my furniture. When I pointed out all the things they broke to the guys, they were apologetic at all. They said to call their office and even if I did that, nothing would happen anyway. I called their manager, who asked me to send pictures of the things that were broken, I did that. He said hed send it to his claims department and get back to me. He got back to me after I called him 4-5 times 2 weeks later. And said I need to send him the values of the furniture with their serial numbers for their claims department. I did that too. Now its been 12 days, no response at all. The phone number goes straight to a voice mail or it says this phone is not excepting in coming calls. These guys are so unprofessional. Do not hire them. We paid $1400 on the day of the move. Oh not to mention, when I initially hired them, they said theyd be able to get all of my furniture in their one truck. However, the morning of, they said we would need to get another truck bc they cant fit all of our furniture. It was So insane to deal with these guys. We had to get another truck at that moment. Finally, the very insane thing was that some of the movers were high! Stay away from them.
