FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All pricing with Simply Sated by Tessa is customized based on your guest count, menu selections, and level of service—there are no set or “one-size-fits-all” menus. This allows us to design proposals that align with your vision and budget. Additional fees may apply for staffing, rentals (linens, China, flatware, glassware), delivery/setup, and specialty services. Applicable state and labor taxes are included in proposals for full transparency. We occasionally offer seasonal promotions or booking incentives (such as reduced deposits during select months). Any discounts or specials are clearly outlined at the time of booking so there are no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process begins with an initial inquiry where we gather key details such as event date, guest count, service style, and budget range. From there, we create a custom sample proposal tailored to the client’s vision—this serves as a conversation starter and allows us to refine details together. Once the menu and services are aligned, we provide a formal proposal and contract for review. Tastings are available for couples who would like to sample their menu prior to booking. After the contract is signed and the initial payment is made, we move into detailed planning and coordination, including timelines, logistics, and any add-on services. Leading up to the event, we confirm final guest counts and details, and on event day our team executes service according to the agreed plan to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our clients and their guests.
