This has to be the worst cpr experience I have ever had. Don't get me wrong the class was good. She seemed to be a good instructor and such but when I came down to delivering what you paid for that's where my problem began. I took my cpr class in June here it is the end of September I have yet to get my cpr card. She claimed the card had been mailed twice but couldn't provide that it had been sent. Each time I called it was a different excuse about why I had not received the card and each time I was heated but understanding until the last time. I called the actual testing center she uses to get my card. They understood my frustration and they told me I could come and get the card myself if that would help. Honestly in my opinion she could have went a different route to ensure she was covered. If she had done more I could understand but I feel as if she was doing the bare minimum.

I am sorry for your experience. In my 2 1/2 years of business and 500+ students this was my first time having a delay with the delivery of a card. Everything was done on my part to ensure that you were able to get your card along with contacting the testing center and giving the authorization for you to pick it up to prevent further delay (a practice not usually allowed, but given due to the abnormality of the situation).
I teach CPR in a caring way because I want people to know what they are doing when they are responsible for people's loved ones. While I admit that there was an administrative mistake that caused a delay in you receiving a card for the class you took on 7-26-14, I am confident that i taught you skills that will last a life time and could possibly help you save the life of not only the clients you work with, but the friends and family in your life that you love. That knowledge is PRICELESS.
Please do not allow your personal frustration with an administrative situation that has never happened for me prevent someone else from obtaining the knowledge they will acquire from taking my class. As you said the class was good and in a business where what I teach effects life and death decisions please excuse the mistakes made with paperwork. I was a student before I became an instructor for 13 years and never had a problem with getting my card, however, I didn't have a clue how to give CPR nor was I comfortable with my skills enough to help a stranger. I am proud to say that the hundreds of students that leave my class all leave knowing exactly what to do in an emergency and learned it in a way that they will be able to remember it for life.
