While everything did not go smoothly, I could not be happier with the overall experience with Next Door Relocators. The Pre Move: I spoke to Todd Bauer to set up the initial move. He was extremely personable and explained in detail all of the charges that I could expect to incur. They do charge a trip fee and fuel surcharge based on the entire move from their office in Norcross to the PU, DEL, and back, but this is all calculated and agreed upon prior to booking. I found that other movers may not explicitly charge these fees, but that the costs were baked into their hourly rates. When i compared the costs between movers, the total cost ended up being about the same for how long I expected my move to take. Also, Todd provided his personal cell should we have any issues during the move. And we did... The Move: Patrick and his 3 man crew showed up at the agreed upon time and called while en route to give a good ETA for arrival. We did a quick walk through of what was to be loaded and the crew got to work. They guys were highly professional, took care in how they wrapped/packed, and did it with a smile on their faces. We did have one small issue cause by an interpersonal issue amongst two guys in the crew resulting in one of them walking off. I called Todd to explain the issue and he worked with his Logistics team to replace the mover once we arrived at the delivery location. One we arrived at the new house, a new mover joined the crew and the worked just as hard on unloading as they did on loading. They assembled all furniture and did a walkthrough once done to make sure everything was assembled and moved to the correct room. They also went the extra mile to help me move the old refrigerator to the basement. At the end of the day, I cannot say enough good things about the Patrick and his crew and would hope that they were assigned to us again if we were to move again. Payment and Reconciliation: The logistics team called as were were wrapping up the watkthrough to check on the progress of the move. We discussed and resolved the issue with the replaced driver and final closeout went smoothly. Post Move: After the movers left and we unpacked some boxes we noticed that the rear legs on the sofa got damaged during the move. We contacted Todd, sent a few pictures, and were contacted by their logistics team to arrange for someone to come out and review the claim. Fran came out this morning, looked at the damage, and basically rebuilt the support structure. When he was finished, I would argue that his repair was far better than the manufacturers actual build. Summary: I understand that no move is perfect and that things break, but NDR did a wonderful job mitigate and resolve any issue that arose. Their crew (the 3 guys there for the entire job) was amazing, didn't balk at the size/weight of anything being moved, and went above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly. They support team were available throughout our move, communicated effectively, and resolved issues that arose to the satisfaction of all parties. The post move support to repair the items damaged during the move was far more than expected. Thanks again to the whole NDR team for making the move as easy as it could be.
Deitric and Jerrell were incredible. They arrived within the determined time frame and didn't stop working until the job was completed. They moved fast, but cautiously. Two Men and a Truck did a terrible job of packing our goods, but DA Lowe was very careful with our things. They even reassembled our hospital beds and there was never a complaint by these two great workers.j Our family was skeptical when we chose this company because of the low cost. The movers proved them wrong because we were moved professionally and carefully. It is also impossible to find two better people than our movers. Ronnie Morris of RLMJ Enterprise made my move easy and stress free. He had the best prices of any movers, confirmed the move the day before, and showed up early! They handled all of my furniture with care, did not break anything and stuck to my time limit. I will definitely use RLMJ Enterprise for all of my future moves.
I was referred by a friend, In and Out movers were on time and and very careful with my furniture. It only took 5hrs out of a 3bdrm apt from the second floor, which was 2 hrs better than my last moving company! I was told I was getting a 26' truck which would have made one trip. Instead they came with a 20' truck which resulted in a second trip and more cost. The movers were excellent and did an awesome job taking care of my things. They did their best trying to get all my furniture in the 20' truck but there was just too much for that truck.

I wish I would have did the review sooner. Last August, we were moving across the country and needed to clean out the garage before the movers came. Brian came and went out of his way to pick up all load of junk and come back the next morning for an extra pickup. I was grateful!

I had hired 2 men and a truck. The two gentlemen who came to help us move were Gilbert and Mike. The men were very friendly, focused on the job, professional and cooperative. Although the movers were an hour late but it was okay because the area we were moving from was more traffic heavy - so I would suggest booking them having an hour window for your convenience. We had taken off the furniture, but the move took a little longer than expected - so I would suggest hiring 3 men if you expect more efficiency. Otherwise, the movers were prompt and quick and was patient with any of our requests. Also, we drove with the movers from our current to our new address and they were more or less on time, so was cognizant of time running. Overall, very happy with the service. Will definitely hire AK Logistics in the future.
TNC went above and beyond, they volunteered to haul away a few more items than initially agreed upon, at no additional cost. I would use them again as well as refer them to anyone with similar needs.
We moved from GA to CA and never used movers before and we were very scared to be taken advantage of or they wouldn't do their job properly. Contacted Pick Up Movers because of the high rating on thumbtack wasn't disappointed Between Pierre always answering my questions quickly and without hesitation to the actual move it was a good experience He did go over our items to be Move. While they came early, the guys did a great job and even gave us our wardrobe boxes early which helped A LOT! They moved very quickly and efficiently. They handled all the items with care. We had to leave early to go to CA to sign our new lease, so my parents stayed with the movers until they finished. I just want to thank Pick Up Movers for providing a good moving experience.
Overall, satisfied with both their work and honesty. We originally scheduled to have the work done between 4:00 and 4:30pm Saturday afternoon. It became obvious that I wasn't going to be on time for the appointment, so I called and let Donte know to see how much trouble it was going to be if we pushed their arrival back about an hour. As he was also behind schedule, this worked out fine. And then a series of unfortunate circumstances pushed their arrival back even farther. But it wasn't that big a deal, simply because he communicated with me. He and his partner were both courteous, friendly, and knew what they were doing. They finished the work in a reasonable amount of time and I was more than happy with the work they did. I would both use Movers R Us Atl again and recommend them in the future.
I have no connection with this company. I have never used movers before either. The rate was outstanding and they had better reviews than some other competitors... so I decided to give them a chance. They came a few minutes late which is fine because it was raining and they called to tell me they were behind (much appreciated). They were all responsible and seemed to care not to damage my low end furniture. They had to really work to get a couple of couches up some stairs and through tight spaces. I would definitely use them again.
Best moving experience I've had. Curtis and team (including Adrian) were fantastic. Beyond being really nice and responsible guys, they were incredibly responsive and professional, which was great because we had several changes all the way up to the day before the move. I was very impressed with how together this company is, considering how new they are. You would think this company had been around for years. We had a cross country (GA to MN) move with a car in tow and two drop off locations at the end of the trip and they had all the correct documents we needed right away (e.g., insurance for both vehicle/tow and transit and contents of the move, contract, etc). They were also very quick but CAREFUL. I have had many bad experiences with movers thinking the only thing that matters is time (since that is the only thing that may matter to them when there is a flat rate). With some other movers I've used, they don't read box labels or rush through moving fragile furniture and then leave before you can even notice they've damaged everything. With HH, everything was handled with care including the house we were moving from and (very small) apartment we were moving to, and very importantly, the truck was packed very thoughtfully. It was a larger truck that was only half full, but everything was tied down and stored to protect each item and its neighbors. This may sound like common sense, but when you have movers that are tight on time and the move is taking longer than thought (which this one did), things end up just getting thrown on the truck without much thought and that's where stuff gets damaged. As Curtis explained to me, you get a completely different level of care and consideration when you have movers who are their company (Curtis is the owner). It is their reputation and their dollar if a customer is unhappy or something gets damaged. And yes, they are priced very fairly - about a third of what two movers and truck would charge you and in line with other smaller companies. I hope this review helps convince someone else to go with HH - again they are newer so don't have a huge online footprint, but this is a real review from a real very satisfied customer (beware of people on google who post phony, reviews for pay, there are a lot out there). Will be posting this same review on u-Haul's website. I couldn't recommend this company more!

Wow!! Mike and Cliff are absolutely terrific--professional, kind, and so talented at what they do. Without a doubt, the best movers I have ever hired (and I've moved quite a few times in the last decade!). After a very long day of loading, driving to my new home in a different state, and unloading into a house perched on top of a hill, they still had smiles on their faces and were incredibly generous with their time and everything they offered to help me with. And this was with a flat rate price! There were absolutely zero hidden costs, they handled everything with care, and they were a delight to spend time with. I feel so lucky that I found them on Thumbtack! Best moving experience ever!
