I was under a short suspense time to get my cabinet replaced from water damaged caused by my refrigerator leaking. Keith was awesome. He was first to provide a quote and then we setup a time to meet to finalize the job. He had a job that morning and a quote later that afternoon in Marietta. I live in Carrollton and he called me to let me know when he would be arriving around 7pm. Looked at what I wanted done, gave me a quote and we setup a time to do the work the next morning. Arrived on time and did the work (very professional in all facets of the job) and my wife was very happy with the work and the price. If you're looking for a guy that will provide an excellent service, perform quality work, and won't gouge you in price - give Keith a call. You won't be disappointed. I plan to call on him for my future needs.

Greg has completed many jobs at my house. First he remodeled our three room apartment downstairs. This included installing a shower, painting, installing lighting fixtures, mountilng cabinets and painting them. He also takes care of our grounds. We have about 3-4 acres and his ground keeping skills are impeccable.

Danny did a great job on all the jobs we've given him. We have 4 new picnic tables, a cubby cabinet for the cafeteria and he is currently working on 10 storage cabinets for us. His prices are reasonable and we will continue to go to Georgia Woodcraft for all of our cabinetry needs.

My husband and I recently decided to do some upgrading in our home before we put our home on the market. The kitchen wasn't in bad shape, just needed a little bit of updating (our house was built in 2008 and the kitchen was a little too dark for modern tastes). I found New Look Refacing and More online and when I called, I spoke with Marva, who I immediately connected with- like I picked up the phone to talk to an old friend. Marva wasn't pushy at all, asked great questions about our budget and if we were ready to move forward immediately- I didn't feel pressured at all to go with them for our kitchen job. I had asked for a price estimate over the phone and she quoted me a range that I was very happy with (we had multiple estimated given to us but New Look Refacing's quote was well within our budget and none of the other estimates even came close)! I have to say that the entire process of working with New Look Refacing was amazing. I had expected about 1-2 weeks until we had our new kitchen, but everything only took 5 Days! Marcus was our lead installer and he walked us through every part of the installation process. He was always on time and did exactly what he said he was going to do. New Look Refacing's work really speaks for itself- an incredible quality product AND a lifetime transferable warranty that our home buyer will be very happy to take on! New Look Refacing also donates part of our refacing project's cost to charity- it didn't add to the cost of our project. We chose GA Alzheimer's Association as our charity of choice and New Look Refacing donated a portion of our kitchen refacing project's cost to them in our honor. We plan on using New Look Refacing for future projects in our new home and we highly recommend them for their professionalism, cost, and overall courtesy for your home and for you! Thanks Jim and Marva!

I have worked with Tracey on several projects, or shall I say helped him. He has redone my bathroom almost top to bottom. My bathtub/shower was blue, rather then go through the expense of pulling the old one out, that the bathroom was built around, he suggested painting it with an epoxy paint, problem solved. Of course the toilet and sink were blue also, along with blue accents in the sink counter top. All of this came out. Also, carpeting was in the bathroom, yes, it came out too. He has re floored, new base board and trim, new toilet and sink cabinet, counter top, and sink. He has used his experience to make recommendations to help cut cost, and up the appearance at the same time. I have worked with him on a remodel job involving the whole inside of a house. He puts everything in order, so one part of the job won't be interfered with after completion, while moving on with another part of the job. I have been very pleased with his work, and he will go over details before the job starts so there are no surprises minus the unexpected ones that are covered up from previous renovations.

Steve is honest and dependable. The quality of the work was outstanding. We enjoyed working with him during the remodeling of our home inside and out. He replaced the outside siding, painted, replaced the roof and built a deck with a roof. He also remodeled the kitchen with new cabinets, counter tops and tile. We will be remodeling the bathrooms in the future and will use Steve and Our Little House again.

    About

With experience from measuring, designing, building and installing cabinetry, I can see a project through and make it look the best it can look vs. someone who hasn't had the experience in all areas of construction (measuring, designing, building, installing, etc). I work extremely hard to satisfy the customer and pride myself on the feeling of accomplishment I receive from the homeowner once the project is complete and they are satisfied and thrilled with the results. It is a good feeling knowing you had a part in knowing someone will admire the finished product in the future.

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

    Do you tip cabinet installers?

In general, home service providers such as electricians, plumbers and contractors are professionals who don’t expect tips. They expect to do a job for you for the specific price they quoted. Of course, they may appreciate a tip for a job particularly well done or for which they’ve gone beyond what’s normally expected, such as completing the project early or under budget. Even better than a tip, it’s always appropriate to leave a positive review online after a good experience.

    How much is custom cabinetry?

Custom cabinets can be built for any room, including bedroom closets and built-in armoires. Measured carefully and built precisely, custom cabinetry can increase storage and beautify any room. The national average for building custom cabinets ranges from $500 to $1,200 per linear foot. The cost is highly variable because there are so many styles, colors, glazes and other options. In general, the linear footage of the cabinets, the materials used to build them, and the cost of the labor will determine the cost. Solid wood costs more than plywood and wood veneer, and costs vary among different types of wood; maple and cherry cabinets are more expensive than pine. Glass-front cabinets can cost more, as can decorative hinges, handles and door pulls, which can cost $2-$45 each; choose carefully to stay within your budget and pull off the exact look you’re going for. Some carpenters also charge for installation, on average $100 per cabinet box. Additional molding and trim, such as crown molding at the ceiling, cost an average of $70 per 8-foot section, and adding finished ends to exposed cabinets averages $100-$200.

How much does it cost to have kitchen cabinets installed?

In any kitchen, the cabinets are the main focus, so you want to make sure new or replacement cabinets are installed correctly. A professional carpenter can properly, securely mount new cabinets to the wall; the national average cost for this service is $7,725, although the cost varies widely depending on the type of cabinets, their material and their size, and the accessories you add. A typical fee is $70 per linear foot to remove existing cabinets and assemble and install new ones; the cost is less if you do the demolition and removal yourself. Stock cabinets are the least expensive to have installed, ranging from $75 to $400 each; semi-custom cabinets range from $150 to $900 each; and custom cabinets cost from $500 to $1,400 each. Wood cabinets are more expensive than those made from plywood or medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and finished with a laminate. Wood cabinets range in cost from $80 to $160 per linear foot. Laminate-finished cabinets cost $35 to $75 per linear foot, on average.
