I took guitar lessons from Parker for over 4 years. The only reason that I stopped was because he moved away to complete his Masters degree at University of Texas. When I started my lessons with Parker I had not touched my guitar in over 30 years. Parker had me up and comfortable playing very quickly. Within about three months I had joined a rock band playing rhythm guitar and a year later I started my own band playing lead guitar. I could not have done this without Parker's amazing ability to help me learn new songs and playing techniques quickly. Parker has a great ear for music and can figure out songs/chords that others can't get. I cannot recommend Parker more strongly. A great musician, teacher, and a genuinely nice guy!

Hi! I am a classically trained (both in voice and piano) professional, a former opera singer turned self-made original indie pop artist, a recording artist, a live performer of multiple styles and a music instructor of multiple instruments specializing in voice. I have over 11 years of teaching experience in both individual and group instruction. I have helped hundreds of kids and adults of various ages improve not only their musical abilities and dreams but also other essential elements, like coordination, focus, discipline, confidence and many more. Being a full-time performer and original artist allows me to bring something special to each student to better help prepare him/her for the real world of music by guiding him/her in the development of his/her craft as well as the business of music. This can spark a strong desire for a career and/or a true calling for a lifelong practice in and love for music. Each lesson is shaped and designed around the individual to explore and extract the students' creativity and strengthen and build their musical skills to guide them into their own musical potential, as well as have the students sometimes realize a clearer life purpose through taking lessons. For young children, learning an instrument (including the voice) is fantastic for building motor skills and developing great character, a unique sense of style and awareness. I teach private one-on-one music lessons in several Metro Atlanta studio locations as well as online. The majority of my student base are elementary and high school beginners to intermediates in piano, voice and guitar; advanced, hardworking and self-motivated singers; and singer-songwriters who are developing their individual voice and artistry and a few adults. Instruments and levels offered include the following: * singing -- all styles, genres and levels are welcome. * piano -- beginner to intermediate * guitar -- beginner * songwriting -- all levels I recommend doing a trial lesson to see if we are a good fit. If one or both of us feel like it is not, I will be happy to recommend to you someone with incredible qualifications and a pleasant personality out of my very large network of musicians. It is important to me that you find the right teacher for your needs, or we will waste both of each other's time and money, so there is nothing to lose here. Music is a commitment, regardless of the gift or lack of it. The more effort one puts in, the better the results, and the less effort, the lesser amount of results. All I ask, as the teacher, is to please be honest with yourself. I'm open to helping you as much as you are open and willing to help yourself. I have a bachelor's degree in music from Georgia State University with a concentration in voice. I perform with an indie pop band. I write my own original music. I am in the middle of recording my debut album of my life's original work. Several of my students of various ages who started with me in music lessons are now artists in the process of recording their own original music on a really high level, performing and continuously honing their craft. They have bright futures ahead of them in the creative arts, and it's really exciting to see their projects and personalities blossom. I am constantly collaborating on all sorts of promising creative projects with unbelievably gifted, skilled and incredible people. Music, people, creating, and seeing students learn, growing and change are my life passions. Let's make music, and let's launch you together on your own personal musical journey! I look forward to hearing music from you. All the best, Jennifer Please make serious inquiries only. If you are here to dillydally and know you will flake out on your free trial lesson I have reserved time for, don't even bother posting your ad up here because all of us teachers have to pay each time we send you a quote, and it's expensive. Please respect that and all the other teachers and service providers on this site. Don't waste our time unless you are serious about taking music lessons for whatever reason it may be. Flakes will not be tolerated. Thank you.

I have known Valencia Giles for 7 years, and working with her and getting lessons from her has been an amazing experience. She cares for all of her students, and makes sure that they are succeeding not only musically, but academically as well. Valencia Giles as well as the rest of the staff are all extremely nice and caring. They all have years and years of experience. I would trust each and every one of them to give me lessons. If you are deciding on a place to send your child/children to get piano, violin/viola, guitar, and/or singing lessons, or if you want lessons yourself, then don't hesitate to call V.C. Giles Music Studio.

Our daughter has been taking guitar lessons with Gene Hilbert for about a year now. She is not only playing the guitar, she is playing complicated melodies! She has learned and continues to learn classics, rock n' roll, country, rhythm & blues. He gives her the kind of music training that keeps her wanting to learn more and enjoys practicing. He is brilliant in our opinion and works great with kids. We also know several children whom are being taught by Gene and they love their guitar lessons and music training too!!

I am a local jazz guitarist and band leader in town. I can offer guitar lessons and jazz entertainment for your private event. I have been teaching guitar and music since 1998. I have over 20 years of performance experience in most genres of music, from classical to folk and from rock to jazz. I can help you learn to master navigation of the fretboard through scales, arpeggios, music theory and chords, which in turn will increase the skill level of your soloing ability. I can also teach you to play and improvise over jazz changes or gain vocabulary by learning how to transcribe other players' solos. You will learn the music theory needed to make your improvisations more educated and articulate and your sight- reading will increase. I can help you with audition requirements for a college jazz guitar program or high school big band auditions as well. Jim Sadler and his jazz band can offer multiple instrumentation, including duos, trios, quartets, and quintets with combinations of guitars, bass, drums, saxophones, mandolins and vocals. So, if you are looking for music that creates a delicate conversational atmosphere, please consider hiring us for your next event. You won't be disappointed. We love what we do.

When my grandson expressed an interest in playing the guitar, I began my search for guitar lessons. In my search, I found the Childbloom Guitar Program North East Georgia. During my first conversation with Mr. Derwyn Browne, the Director and teacher of the Childbloom Guitar Program, I had a great feeling that this was the beginning of something big for my grandson and I was right. The Childbloom style of teaching a student to play the guitar is an amazing program. Mr. Browne is a very patient and kind teacher and he displays his great love for music to his students. He does a great job of teaching the children how to play the guitar, while instilling in them the importance of learning proper technique in their fingering and playing. My grandson has been taking lessons in the Childbloom Guitar Program for 3 years and his skill level has definitely increased during that time period. He is being taught how to read music along with music theory and is becoming a wonderful guitar player. I have no regrets in enrolling my grandson in this guitar program and he is having a great learning experience, while growing his skills and mastering the guitar.

Chris is the best guitar teacher I've ever had! He's been great about helping me acheive the goals I had of playing lead guitar at my church, and now I play every Sunday. He's also been able to help me understand the guitar and to read music which is very beneficial when playing with other people. I highly recommend!

Does your child enjoy music? If so, then it is important not to squelch that flame. If your child found an instrument that he/she truly enjoys and excels at, would you support and encourage him/her to learn that instrument? As a professional teacher, I can tell you that it is possible for anybody to learn an instrument if he/she has a good teacher, somebody to support him/her, and he/she is using his/her natural strengths. Would you like to discover the best path for your child? Within 20 minutes, a key music assessment will shine a light on the path that will give your child the best chance for a lifetime of enjoyment and benefits that come with learning an instrument. The first steps we take often determine our success. A wrong start can lead a child into a class that demands too much from a skill set that is not yet developed. All the student knows is that he/she is struggling and could feel like he/she is not talented enough to learn. The truth is that he/she is talented enough but chose a path that focused on the wrong skill set. The solution is to learn who you are and what is natural for you and use those talents first. With a single assessment, you could be sure you have helped your child put his/her best foot forward as he/she begins her path to music lessons. Are you interested in a key music assessment for your child? We don't want the testing fee to be a barrier to any child wanting to learn music. As a result, the fee is waived for children under the age of 15 years. Contact our studio right away to schedule a free assessment, and we look forward to meeting you! Key Music Center Norcross, Ga
