I am very satisfied with the deck stairs installation that was recently completed by Genesis. The stairs are beautiful, well-made, and easy to use. I am particularly impressed with the quality of the workmanship. The stairs were installed precisely and securely, and they are a great addition to my deck.

My only issue with this company is that they didn’t communicate well with me the day of the install. I get that John and his associates are super busy, but I had to move my schedule around that day to be there for the repair and no one told me that the install would begin an hour later than the window I was given. But, John made quick work of the issue and solved my problem in under 40 minutes. I needed a new garage door opener and he talked me through the problem and showed me what I needed before he got the door working, again. I was pleased enough with the quick service that I commissioned him to change out my other opener, even though the 20 year unit hasn’t had a problem, yet. The one he was replaced was the same age and I saw it as a good investment to have John do this job as well.

Our 20+-year-old garage door opener needed to be replaced. I contacted John to review the current system and options for replacement. John quickly stopped by. He provided assignment and we reviewed three options for new systems. After selection, John was able to install the new system, review the operation, clean up. I greatly appreciate how John operates. I'm a big "youtube DIYer." Every once in awhile I run across a problem where enough people say, "Its time to call a specialist," that I actually call one. Thumbtack hasn't let me down yet. I submitted a job for a garage door opener with a failed sensor and lights. I was immediately connected with John from Genesis Overhead Doors. We exchanged a couple of chats where he speculated on what he thought the problem was, along with his recommendations for both repair and replacement. My unit was about 28 years old so.....the replacement was a desirable upgrade considering all of the integrated automation features available. What impressed me most, was his willingness to come out early on a holiday weekend to accommodate my schedule. He scheduled the earliest possible appointment and was done in less than an hour. John and Daniel set up my new exterior keypad with pin, the remote opener and walked me through setting up mobile access on my phone. In addition to the original scope, John troubleshot some other issues with the door itself. He recommended a product that would extend the life of my door parts for a little while longer. After installation, he did a quick demo and stayed until he was sure I understood and tested how everything worked. His quick tutorial also helped me quickly pair my integrated car garage opener soon after they left. I was very impressed with John's knowledge and believe I received a great value for the service rendered. I know I'll be using them again.
