Ply & Paint was wonderful to work with! James listened to my vision and desires for my kitchen and made it happen perfectly. Now, one of my favorite rooms is my kitchen due to my kitchen cabinets. He also refaced and refinished our primary bathroom cabinets, which turned out just as great as the kitchen cabinets.

Jhemsley has very good knowledge about painting and which finish type to use in different area in the house. We went on vacation and he painted 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, Kitchen, and kitchen cabinets, We came back and it there were so beautiful and love the finish. We love our cabinets!!! We recently used Ply & Paint this summer to paint several rooms in our home. We had a total of 7 rooms painted. One included a kitchen remodel. All rooms were previously "boring" beige My husband and I are beyond satisfied. We told Jhemsley what we wanted, and he was able to bring it to life. Our kitchen looks totally different! Jhemsley was always professional, and punctual. He was reasonably priced, and he explained everything thoroughly. Pricing is affordable. I currently offer 10% discount on multi-service or multi-room paint jobs booked through 2022.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, listen to the customer's needs. Second, stop by for a consultation to understand job and recommended paint type based on area/traffic. Third, provide quote and availability. Forth, once customer approves quote and submits a deposit, the job is booked and paint is ordered. Fifth, complete the job. Sixth, happy customer, happy painter.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I have my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and spent many years in IT and customer service roles, I found true fulfillment in painting projects and woodworking projects. After 10 years of taking on painting and small woodworking projects on the side, I decided to leave my corporate career behind and go full-time as a residential painter. No regrets since.
