- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am not complicated but I do take into account each individual clients and what their needs are. If a client lives closer to me I may not charge as much as if I have to travel over 30 minutes to their homes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am working on developing a dog training program into my pet sitting to help clients who have unruly dogs who pull on their leash and take my clients for a walk instead of the other way around.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became a pet sitter at first out of necessity. My family came to Ga from Louisiana after hurricane Katrina.Our youngest daughter was 6 months old and my husband had lost his job of 20 yrs. began to talk to some local vets after we found a homeless kitten and I began spending time with the shelter animals. I began my sitting career and absolutely have fallen in love with my clients and their pets. God brings wonderful people into our lives for a reason, and I believe pet sitting is my true calling.
