She is very nice and easy to talk to. She believes in what she teaches. She is very optimistic and helps me with my confidence. She worked with me at my home. My lessons are 30 minutes but a good thirty minutes. Her quality of work is good.
Every review says as much about the person reviewing as it does the business reviewed. Olga is a conscientious and professional piano and voice teacher and I highly recommend her. A bad review is telegraphing that the person writing it has specific things that set them off. Sometimes these are fair and then the review reads as sensible. Typing a bad review in ALL CAPS is not sensible. The person comes across as obnoxious and at best, as fussy when focused on things most people consider unfair, like free lessons. Unless it is someone who shares the same issue, when someone like that writes a bad review the only person he or she is pushing away is someone LIKE THEM. So in that respect, they're doing the place a favor because they are aborting another bad review. Most of us read multiple reviews and can sort the rational voices from the angry ones. I am a parent of two boys and I have to say that $20 for quality one-on-one (private) 30 minute music lessons is too cheap. This is especially true if the teacher has several university degrees. Yes Olga gives us a discounted rate for my younger son but I do not expect her to teach for free. I am yet to see a teacher giving a $20 private lesson and free lesson for the 2nd child. To do it once perhaps, but that deal would be too good to be true to sustain long term. Not only would the teacher soon go out of business but it is unfair to the parents who are paying a higher but fair rate. In this day and age that is not a fair price for a qualified music teacher. However, $20 for a group lesson of 4 or 5 kids would make sense. My boys were able to read notes from their first piano lesson and are able to interpret a piece of music. Their lessons include scales, arpeggios, classic pieces, aural testing, sight reading and music theory. She is currently preparing my eldest son for the grade 1 Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Exam. I can say she has gone above and beyond what previous piano teachers have delivered, even extending the lesson time by 5 or 10 minutes if needed. She was more focused on my boys understanding the concept than anything else. In fact and she spaced our lessons so they do not overlap giving me ample time to discuss any concerns. Our experience has been that we get more than what we pay for at each lesson. No one should have to work for free. The effort Olga makes in teaching our boys correct finger posture, rhythm and theory is incredible. She is great with kids and I could not ask for a better teacher.
I started taking acting lessons from Michael in January for my college auditions. He has been amazing in helping me prepare. I had 8 auditions and I have so far been accepted into 3 of them! I recommend him if you are interested in taking acting lessons or even voice!
Voice lessons with Elideusa are wonderful! She is so patient and encouraging. I gained a solid understanding of vocal anatomy and technique.
Very fast response on initial inquiry. Good prices for private lessons. Pia is very knowledgable and engaged in her students endeavors. She communicates frequently about auditions, camps, scholarships, etc. to her students.
Brock has been an amazing piano teacher! When I moved to Atlanta, I wanted to pick up piano again but didn’t know much about teachers in the area. I found Brock through thumbtack and started taking lessons back in November 2017. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient! I have picked up so much since I’ve started. He has a great room in his house where he teaches lessons, and he and his wife create a very welcoming space for students! He is extremely flexible and responsive when it comes to scheduling. I would definitely refer others to take lessons with Brock!
I really enjoyed my first lesson. So much that I booked the rest of the month. I felt Laurelanne really understood my goals. She really listened to my concerns. I look forward to improving my vocals with her.
I have had the pleasure of working with Carroll Briggs for a couple years now, training as a soloist and a part of a group. He is well versed in vocal training as well as music history. He teaches excellent vocal and performing techniques to bring out the best in you. Iâve learned so much from him in such a short time. My breathing techniques, vocal strength and overall confidence have improved immensely. Carroll makes lessons enjoyable for all age groups. My 15 year old daughter looks forward to lessons each week because Carroll has a way of making practices and challenging aspects of singing fun and exciting. He is very professional and great in explaining the things that we need to work on. He is also encouraging, thorough, and patient when explaining things we might not understand. What I like most about Carroll is that he understands the need for individual attention as well as the overall needs required for the success of a group. If you are looking for a knowledgeable vocal coach who is supportive, dedicated, experienced, and will be able to tailor lessons for your specific needs, I highly recommend Carroll Briggs.
Mr Eason teaches the fundamentals of vocal training including breathing and technique. The lessons are professional and challenging but fun. I am a beginner so this is exactly the type of voice lessons I wanted. If you are looking for a solid foundation in voice, I recommend Jonathan Eason.
George has taught me for several months and has made a huge positive impact on my vocal technique. He is extremely good at finding what works for your individual voice and focuses on breath support and not straining. Lessons are formal with a strong emphasis on music theory. I look forward to continuing training and would highly recommend George to anyone looking to improve their vocal technique.
Ashley is a great teacher, flexible with her time and simply great to work with. I have started taking singing lessons later in life than most and she has made me feel very comfortable at every point during our lessons.
Taiwo is amazing! I took vocal lessons with him to improve on my singing and ended up improving on a lot more than I expected! He's trained me not just vocally but as an all round artiste. My singing, breath control, writing style, rap melodies, confidence, and everything has improved in just a short time and I'm so excited for my new project! THANK YOU TAIWO! I rate you EXCELLENT! https://www.reverbnation.com/lilmissmiss

I work with students' individual interests and strengths to create an exciting learning track, combining their favorite songs with music theory lessons so that they understand what makes their favorite music tick, in the hope that they too will grow to be creators of music many will love. My goal is always to teach my students well enough that they'll grow self-sufficient in their pursuit of musical knowledge and give them the right tools to apprehend and take charge of each challenge on the way.
