I teach virtual and in-person (Atlanta, GA).
I teach Spanish to children, teens, and adults at all levels.
I speak Spanish, English, and Italian. My lessons are practical, fun, and personalized to each student’s goals and lifestyle.
I’m Angelica La Rosa, a native Spanish teacher with 10+ years of experience teaching virtual and in-person. I hold a degree in Education and specialized training from Ricardo Palma University and the Cervantes Institute to Teach Spanish for Foreigners.

Angela really takes the time to create lessons tailored to my interests and specific learning needs. She is professional, patient, responsive, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping me succeed. What has really set Angela apart is her willingness to adapt her teaching to what I actually need. I realized that the biggest obstacle in my Spanish class wasn’t necessarily the Spanish—it was the computer! I had never used a computer for classes before, and accessing PDFs, completing homework electronically, organizing files, and navigating everything on my MacBook Air had become overwhelming. Angela recognized this and our Spanish lessons have naturally expanded to include one-on-one computer instruction. Through screen sharing, she has helped me organize my Spanish materials, learn how to work with my homework on the computer, set up tools such as Translate, and learn functions on my MacBook that make studying much easier. We can work on Spanish, switch to a computer question when I need help, and then use what I’ve learned on the computer to make my Spanish studies more manageable. I also take Korean classes with my husband, and Angela has offered to help me organize those materials as well. I plan to schedule additional sessions with her specifically to learn more about my MacBook and ways I can use it for both my classes and everyday life. Having a scheduled, one-on-one session with someone who already knows me and understands exactly what I’m trying to accomplish has been invaluable. Instead of struggling on my own or trying to find someone to answer individual computer questions, I have someone who patiently walks me through them and teaches me how to do these things myself. I’m so glad I stuck with my classes and especially grateful that Angela was willing to expand our lessons to address the computer skills that were holding me back. The computer was becoming harder than the class itself, and Angela found a way to help me get past that barrier. I highly recommend her.

I always want lessons to actually work for each student's real life — and once I saw the MacBook and tech side was becoming a bigger obstacle than the Spanish itself, it just made sense to help you build those skills too. I'm glad it's helping with your Korean classes as well, not just Spanish — being comfortable navigating everything remotely makes such a difference for staying consistent in any language you're learning.
