About

We hired Tim and his team to design a custom built-in unit in our bedroom for storage including open shelving, cabinets, drawers, and a space for a TV. Overall, Tim and his team did a wonderful job. Their work is excellent and we've been enjoying the finished product immensely. They worked with us throughout the project and were very flexible as we made small changes during the process. Unfortunately, they did have a few internal hangups that caused some delays and a few scheduling hiccups. The doors and drawers needed to be resprayed more than once; there were delays due to other jobs that required me to rearrange my day around the team; communication was not always clear. However, the quality of the product was always prioritized and held in the highest regard, which ultimately made the hiccups worthwhile and left me happy and satisfied once the project was finished. Tim and his team are real craftsmen and take pride in their work.

About

I cater to the project needs of my potential clients. I am an accomplished custom wood craftsman enabling me a unique ability to design, build, repair, and refinish furniture. For all intensive purposes, I am self-taught using the resources I have around me, and that I receive from the woodworking industry. I am also my own worst critic. My philosophy is that if I am not satisfied, neither would my customers be satisfied. I have a portfolio of projects I have built and very satisfied customers. I have already a number of satisfied customers who hired me from Thumbtack and who have commented; so look at the links from Thumbtack. I love to build and create pieces which bring great pleasure for my customers to own.

About

Kelly and Rob did a fine job renovating a small bathroom for me recently. They replaced the floor tile, the toilet, fixtures in the tub, and most importantly, turned the his-and-hers sink (which was just too much for a secondary bathroom) into a sink for one with marble countertops and a really nice custom cabinet with tower. Most of the work was done in a timely fashion, although we had to wait quite a while for the cabinets, as they were crafted by an outside carpenter. Also, the same carpenter put the wrong handles on the cabinets and getting him to come back to replace them (with Kelly being the middle-man) took too long. Being a two-man operation (with the occasional specialty worker brought in as needed) had its pros and cons, in my opinion. It was good because I knew exactly who was coming to do the work and didn’t have a revolving door of random workers in my house every day. This allowed me to feel comfortable enough to give them a house key so they could come in and finish tasks while I was out. The downside, however, is that because it’s only the two of them, getting in touch can be a little challenging, especially if they’re working simultaneously on another job. So communication could definitely be improved, but as far as the work goes, I’m pleased with the results.
