I was told that I would have 3 crew members for the price of two. This was most expensive move ever. The boxes used are poor quality some from uhaul, Lowes and Walmart. They ran out of supplies like tape while packing and had to use my supplies. Underestimated the size storage unit I needed and I had to purchase another unit. One crew member just quit in the middle of the move. Poor 17 year was the hardest working of them all. Started at 10 every day and broke my suspense of when I requested to have my move finished. Put all of my items in the wrong storage unit and I had to sort that out with the rental office. When I had issues, it took a long time for a response. Took a lot of smoke breaks just eating up the clock and daylight hours. I was definitely overcharged and now my items are damaged and on the last day six people showed up to finish the move. Where were they on day one ? I won't be using them again and I don't recommend this company.

Hi Mrs. Jones, this is Tim from Always Macon Moves, I just want to apologize for any inconvenience you might have incurred. Unfortunately, you didn’t mention any of this during or after the move because if you would have then we could have arranged something to satisfy both ends. One thing you have to keep in mind is that you were moving out of a 4 bedroom Two story home that had to be easily pushing 3k square feet. So it does get kinda costly when you are paying to move and to have the packing team come in and pack it up, so that it makes it a stress free move. That’s exactly what we do and did for you also is provide a stress free move for you and your family. Unfortunately I wasn’t handling the storage part as for what size unit to get or else I would have told you that you needed two units for the Large amount of belongings you had. But I had no clue you weren’t satisfied because I remember you smiling right before we departed shaking my hand for the great job we did. I also discounted the packing job for you several hundreds of dollars along with keeping your stuff on the truck overnight without being charged for it as well. But I would have definitely made sure you were satisfied if it could have been brought to my attention. I believe strongly is customer service and I go along way to make sure I keep my customers happy as you see in the other reviews. If I can do anything for you or your family to make sure you are definitely satisfied then please feel free to reach out to me or someone of my staff and we will do everything we can to put a smile back on your face again!!! We booked through them and had a horrible experience. The movers arrived 5 hours late, they smoked on our patio with the door open during the move so our house wreaks, and they did not come with boxes or tools so they had to leave half way through the move to go get them/borrow ours.Some of our items didnt even arrive at the house. On top of all of that, they left some of the items necessary to reassemble our BED at the first location so they didnt put our entire bed frame back together and we had assemble it once they left. Also had to put back together our dresser.While reassembling our items we also noticed every single drawer was broken and items through out the house were damaged due to them not shrink wrapping a single thing. All in all a really unfortunate and unprofessional experience.

Since the review below, Ive spoken with Tim, the owner of Always making moves and he has done everything to rectify the situation. He refunded part of my money and expressed his deepest apology. With the resolution Tim provided, I am happy with the outcome giving Thanks Always Macon Moves.I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy! They arrived at my house late. I had a 2br apartment, I had taken down my beds, I only had 1 dresser in both rooms, no living room furniture, a washer and dryer and about 20 boxes that could be taken out 3 or 4 at a time on a dolly. I told the owner Tim that his workers were taking out 1 item at a time. Ex. 1 lunchbox by itself, a curtain rod by itself. Mind you this was 15 minutes into the job. I explained that I could only pay for 2 hours because I knew with the things I had, this was only a 2 hour job. He assured me not to worry he was going to take care of it, it would be 2 hours. They ended up taking 7 hours and I get a notification from my bank with a $522.00 charge in addition to the $150.00 deposit. They will prolong the job and Tim the owner will try and make it like hes helping because he didnt add the $125.00 truck fee. This business is a scam. I will also contact the Better Business Bureau.

If there was a way to give them no stars I would. We came to Atlanta to help my son move out of a house he was renting. The movers were to come 11:30 ish on Saturday, they didnt show. My son called them to get a confirmation on when they were going to come , they said there truck died, they would be there by 4pm. They never showed up. After calling them again and again. The women called him back to say they would be cancelling that day but would be there the following day which was Sunday at10:00-11:00am. We waited and waited. My son called and texted and left several messages. After an additional hour and a half the women called and said they would be there at 3:30. After a couple of hours she called and cancelled again. Very unprofessional and definitely not reliable.
