She’s patient, supportive and made me feel comfortable about the process from day 1. I feel like I learn something important from every lesson and her methods actually work for me. She’s also been extremely flexible when it comes to scheduling and has wonderful communication. I feel like she pushes you just enough outside of your comfort zone to allow you to grow, while also committing to maintaining a safe space. Last month, I was on the hunt for someone who can provide me acting lessons, and was on the fence about who to go with - I honestly didn't even know how to go about making a selection. I was between a couple different coaches. After reading the many awesome reviews on Eddie's page, I decided to give him a shot. Not long after, we scheduled a call... After speaking with Eddie over the phone, I instantly became excited for this new journey and later understood why. This guy is EVERYTHING!! He's the real deal. 👏🏼 Answered every question. Addressed every concern. (And had a super cool personality, might I add!) And what I appreciate is that he doesn't have a condescending tone, as some others in the industry have. He is more interested in educating you and empowering you to be the best actor - and human - you can possibly be. The patience this man has is almost biblical, too. (And I'm a person who comes STRAPPED with questions!) It's as if he was answering questions before I could even ask him, which was pleasantly welcomed. Even his response rate, with his schedule, is insane. He emails, texts.. he's on top of things. It's like having my support system in my back pocket, which is reassuring at best. He carves out time and is genuinely interested in what's going on with his students, too - not just the business side of it. Sometimes, I forget he's my coach and we talk like old friends. ---- We need more coaches, friends, people like you, Eddie. As a person who is inclined to naturally trust another person at their word, living in the city of New York has done a lot to destroy that quality. However, laying in a hospital bed having my only fur baby/best friend at home starving for food with me not there left me no choice but to trust someone. And let me confirm for you my faith and trust was properly placed in Brittany. In a digital world ruled by apps, so often are we left to see words on a page and hope they define the actual human being during the job. In this example, I was surprised to have received a phone call right after placing the message. After having a very good discussion on the phone after which Ms Henry came to my hospital room to retrieve my key fob and then go to my apartment. It was such a relief and a breath of fresh air to have communication and video texts with each visit. She Confirmed for me the start and end times and gaining permission to do well identified secondary additional tasks. Rest assured, your trust will be rewarded if placed in Brittany Henry. When it comes to a sense of ethics and high moral standards, she stands above so many offering the same set of skills for hire. I would use her as my own personal assistant if I had the volume, I will continue to use her as a right hand as situations present themselves in my life. I cannot thank her enough for coming that day to my hospital room and relieving the stress on my mind of my starving buddy alone at home. She was empathy defined that day. So, if you make a choice to hire her; relax and let go because she’s got it handled."See more
