Matt came to my house to give a quote for grading. He was so wonderful. He was so honest and understood my goals. He let me know that hand grading my area was the best idea,and his machines would not be best for my job. He gave me great ideas and instructions to complete my project, and didn't charge for his time-- which I would have happily paid. My only letdown was that I couldn't hire him for my job! I was impressed with Matt's knowledge of landscaping, grading and plants. Rest assures you've made the right decision if you hire Wofford Earthworks.

ATG graded our front lawn in preparation for sod on 3/23. I talked primarily with Collin who was very polite and direct which I appreciated. They called to let us know they would be one day behind due to rain which I also appreciated, not everyone will notify you of that. Their services were the most affordable to of the 5 quotes we got and they did a great job grading our front yard, applying topsoil and packing in the dirt for the rain that was coming. The whole process lasted about 7 hours. Their skid-steer broke one time but they were able to repair it. Without that the process would have been about 2 hours quicker. Would hire again!

I hired a previous crew to level and grade only to find out that water was now rushing towards my house. I contracted O.V. Home Services to correct the issues as I had no faith in previous company ability to correct the issue. To say in simplest terms: Amazing work by this crew! Completely screwed up my yard. I contracted them to grade, level and install concrete slabs. The workers they brought in dug so far down they re-exposed tree stumps that had been precious grind down. Now it’s costing me an ADDITIONAL $2-3k to CORRECT what was messed up. And to top it off the slabs aren’t leveled and causing water to puddle. Completely dissatisfied with this work. The fact that the slab is not leveled renders it completely useless as far as my plans are concerned.

José is amazing at what he does, and on top of that is a really wonderful person. He did a fantastic job transforming our backyard for our family to be able to spend quality time together. He graded the land, removing trees and old large tree stumps, put in a wood retaining wall and stone retaining wall that required a TON of labor, prepped and laid sod, and he did it all for a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend José - thank you for all the work you did for us!! We are loving our new yard!

We needed to re-grade our back yard to redirect the drainage of some rain water which was leaking from the yard into our garage under the house. Michael responded to my request quickly and was flexible with my schedule. He arrived exactly on time and got to work right away. He figured out a more efficient and less expensive way to fix the problem and was done in a few hours. He even offered to wait for payment until after it rained so we could confirm that his work had done the trick. It did. I'm very happy with his professionalism and very reasonable rates and would recommend him highly.

I hired Mr. Reed based upon several reviews I read here on Thumbtack. I needed my large back yard graded after having some trees removed. Mr. Reed's responsiveness to my inquiry was fast. We met and discussed the project. Being very transparent, the work quality was fine; however, there was a misunderstanding regarding a certain area of my yard which resulted in the initial job not being what I wanted. What was impressive and very much appreciated was his response to the issue. Mr. Reed, after being outside in the killer heat for over 3 hours, redid the area to my satisfaction without debate or hesitation. His overall professionalism and customer service was exceptional. I definitely would use him again and I highly recommend him.
