Mason and the young man who assisted him, did a phenomenal job grading our front lawn getting it ready for grass. The evergreen ground cover that we had removed years ago still had roots and the yard had a ton of rocks. Mason removed it all, softened the steep hill so that my husband and son could cut the grass that will eventually grow without injuring themselves.

Josh from LP is a super standup guy. I met with 3 different companies and decided to go with LP because Josh was very knowledgeable, walked me through the entire process and did not try to upsell me even though I thought I needed something. he often found a way to achieve our vision with less. Josh was upfront, informative and fair in pricing. LP also took extreme ownership of the project, checking in on the sod days after it was installed to answer questions and make sure it was progressing as expected. he was very responsive when asked questions. overall I felt involved in the entire process and above all Josh is the kind of person you can trust to get the job done. Marisol, Jesus, and their company were incredible. Over the years we have used several landscaping companies and Davila was the best we’ve ever had BY FAR. They go out of their way to make sure you are pleased with everything they do. They are honest (which seems to be rare now days). They do everything they can to save you money. Whether it’s reusing or replanting shrubs, existing patio or working with your existing irrigation, they do all they can to save you money! They put in 5000 square feet of sod, planted around 25-30 shrubs, level and graded the entire yard, cut down small trees, installed a patio and installed 200 feet of fencing. Trust me when I say, don’t even worry about getting several quotes for your project. I did and it was a waste of time because not only is this company better priced than everyone, they are also the best at what they do! Extremely pleased and will be using them for numerous projects down the road along with referring quite a few of our friends. Included is a picture before and 3 after they were finished. Hire Davila!

Had a great experience working with Dan and his brother Umberto. I had been planning and analyzing a backyard project for years (not kidding) and happy to have found Dan to complete one the biggest part of the makeover (grading/sod). I am someone that is very particular on who I hire and take a lot of time doing so. Dan's honesty and personality had me feeling confident which is part of the reason I had chose him for the job. Working with Umberto on the day of the install was equally impressive. He and his nephews worked all day and was easy to talk to..none of my questions or ideas were too much. FOLLOW UP: After 5 weeks of meticulously watering and caring for the new lawn I advised Dan to choose a different sod vendor. We are seeing a LOT of Poa Annua weeds (a perennial weed that came with the sod) and now many blades of crabgrass are popping up isolated within pieces of sod. It is very disheartening to see this. Also, the sod could have been laid tighter as there are many spaces between pieces. I wish they would have raked and rolled the area before laying the sod as it is very lumpy.
