Introduction: I am a professional piano player, teacher and instructor. I've been playing for 50 years and love passing on my talents to beginning musicians. My teaching techniques emphasize on touch and dynamics. The piano, which full name is pianoforte, meaning soft and loud, should be played exactly as its name. There are moments when loud melodies are represented and then soft or even silent moments. This allows the student to use the instrument to speak or convey their inmost creative language.
