I really wanted to do something special for my lady and I and I’m so glad that I was able to find Athena. I perused hundreds of reviews on ThumbTack before finding her. She had great reviews! I emailed her what I was looking to do and she emailed me back within minutes with the invoice and options of menu formats. I told her our dietary restrictions and what we both wanted to eat. We settled on a menu easily! She asked me for a picture of my lady and I but wouldn’t tell me why which built our suspense! The day of, she arrived on time and fully prepared! She needed no help or assistance with anything! We rested and relaxed while she prepped to cook. We came out to a beautiful double place setting, a lovely arrangement of flowers and her beautiful smiling face! She served us as if we were in a 5 star restaurant (in which we were with her services). She prepared our drink choices and the dinner in phases and everything perfectly flowed! She was such a ray of sunshine and insightful conversation! We conversed as if we were old friends vs strangers who had never met before this evening. She ensured that our beverages were filed at all times, that our meats were cooked to perfection/as desired (which they were), as well as, that we never had to ask for anything. She literally anticipated our every need and want and catered perfectly to us both. Once we were done, she cleaned everything and packed up. Honestly, our kitchen was even MORE spotless after she left lol! She was absolutely amazing and we will consider NO ONE ELSE for our cooking needs! She WOW’d us and that’s not an easy task! Thank you so much for everything you did and the special touches. It was a magically perfect evening and we are grateful to have met you. We WILL be seeing you again soon!

Chef Athena was hired to wow my clients during our brief visit in Atlanta. And boy did she. Her attention to is impressive and her food is out of this world. I've yet to experience anything like her food and her service. From her plating, set up, and clean up was remarkable. My clients and I were all impressed. We all enjoyed every bite. I loved it so much that I requested her services full time. She raised the bar for high standards of fine dining!!!

Chef Athena and her husband were a pure delight. From when they arrived to the end. The food was amazing. I don't like to rush through meals when having family and friends over. I like taking my time drinking and laughing with my friends. Evening was so much fun, Chef Athena had the charcuterie board to start and then the flow of the evening went on with the appetizers, the meal and the specialty drink she made for us and followed up with a birthday cake. It was a fantastic time. From the first bite of the food, all the way to the last drop of the specialty drink. I can't wait to have her doing another party again.

Chef Athena gave my wife and I an amazing anniversary dinner. We keep kosher, so everything from ingredients to utensils needed to be kosher and she got everything just right. The presentation, flavors, and small touches were above and beyond what we expected. We hope to hire Chef Athena again for another amazing experience.

I was only given 3 options to choose from on this app in order to rate Chef Athena, but in all honesty she deserves way more than 3 options and more than 5 stars if it were possible! She handled my girlfriends surprise brunch with so much class! She literally transformed my living space into another world! First off : her response time to my event was extremely quick! She then asked all the right questions to make sure she could set the right tone for the party! She will tell you herself that she doesn’t she cook she creates experiences! The places was filled with balloons, flowers, pictures, and more! Second: THE COOKING WAS AMAZING! I can’t describe how good the food was! My girl fens doesn’t eat red meat and she still made a way to accommodate her! I’m sure she will add photos of the event but if you guys want more please fill free to contact me for a complete review! (Also her prep time and clean up again was amazing! Another side not is my girlfriend and I were supposed to go to dinner later on after the brunch, we literally canceled those plans because the food was so filling!) 10/10

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve ALWAYS had a passion for cooking and flavor. I’m a self taught chef. I’ve cooked for so many people and love what I do. From romantic date nights to 150+ class reunions. I’ve done it! I leave people happy and full- not to mention WOWED! Watching my mother cook as a young girl led me where I am today. Cooking is my passion- my plates are my master pieces.
