- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In general, my price system is as follows: $30 for one 30 minute lesson $45 for one 45 minute lesson $60 for one 60 minute lesson The above fees are for lessons where the student comes to my location. For Skype lessons, I add $5 to each of the above fees. If I have to travel to a student's location, I charge an additional travel fee depending on where they live in the Atlanta area.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I always try to keep up on the latest teaching methods. I attend master classes offered by other professional musicians and I take private lessons from other musicians to improve my own playing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Music has always been a part of my life since childhood. I started out playing cello in middle school. I then played guitar briefly then I switched to bass guitar in high school. I started playing double bass when I went to college and it was at this point that I knew I wanted to pursue music as a performer and educator.
