He is a true professional, always on time, his facility (where we train) is very clean, dedicated to meet your goals. Richard, it has been a pleasure to have a fitness trainer like you. If you seek results, I.L.M.B. Fitness is the way to go! La Monica is not just a personal trainer; shes a Registered Nurse, who, actually, cares about your success. She encourages and supports you the entire way through your journey. Whether your journey is physical fitness, weight loss, or the need to control a diet-related disease (i.e., diabetes, high cholesterol, hypertension), etc, shes there to assist in any way she can. She keeps you focused on your goals with emails, weekly weight-ins, and weekly meal plans (complete with shopping list). She has early morning hours and WebFit 1:1 sessions (Yes, you can work out from the comfort of your own home with just an internet connection and a web browser). Her HIIT (high-intensity interval training) workouts are exactly that -- intensive, but worth every ounce of sweat. She will also work with you to modify any exercises that may be difficult or uncomfortable for you to perform. [I am top heavy and she taught me modified versions of some moves, so that I would feel less discomfort during workouts.] If you do your part (i.e., work out regularly, modify diet), La Monica will make sure you reach your goal. Brian is the real deal! Not only is he extremely knowledgeable , but he has a wonderful personality, training with Brian you get both nutrition and exercise! Andrea and I are taking on our first Half Ironman this September so we asked Donna to prepare us for our upcoming training by helping us strength training. With a family, work, and 3 disciplines to train for, Donna worked with us to squeeze a 30 minute sprint full body strength training on our off mornings. 30 minutes doesnt sound long but Donna put together well thought out full body bootcamp type workouts that incorporated strength and cardio. She pushed us to our limits and didnt waste any time. She arrived early to make sure we got in a proper warmup. No workout was the same so we could never anticipate what muscles were going to be worked. She definitely kept our muscles confused!! After 6 weeks of consistent strength training with Donna, I can definitely feel stronger and prepared to begin HIM training. She's awesome!
Almost every human being experiences multiple major transitions during their lifetime. I am very experienced in helping people to develop positive habits, improve relationships, and become more aware of who they are and how they work. I have over 15 years of experience in helping people recover from addiction, and learning how to put their lives and families back together. I am also a certified restorative exercise specialist and personal trainer. I have found that physical pain and lack of mobility can add to a lack of mental and emotional stability and have added restorative exercise to my offerings.
