I contacted Beavers Piano Moving Company because the regular movers couldn’t get our medium baby grand up 15 steps. I needed professionals who understood pianos and how to dissemble and reassemble parts. They got the job done and were extremely experienced, courteous and knowledgeable. I learned that the owner’s dad used to build pianos and they continue in his footsteps rebuilding pianos. I highly recommend using Beaver Piano Moving for all your piano needs (they also tune pianos!)

Move was double booked and had to reschedule, was not notified until the scheduled move time! No discount was offered for the inconvenience, but movers were very nice and polite. During the piano move, no protection was used while moving my piano down stairs with iron railings. It was horribly scratched and dinged, and it will need a refinishing. I'm just glad it made it to the destination in one piece. Would absolutely not recommend for moving pianos or anything that has delicate finishes/materials.

I used Big Deal to move a piano. Their movers were prompt and polite. However, I expected them to use a sled/board to move the piano down and up the steps at each house. Without the sled it was necessary for me to help. I don't have a problem helping move my own piano but I can imagine many people are not capable of assisting with the move of a 450lb object. If I didn't help I'm not sure how well they would have been able to move it.

In the summer I contacted DA Lowe Movers to move a piano. I gave them all the specifics on the phone to their admin person. She said it was no problem and they could move the piano to my house. They moved it from the home where I got the piano, but once they arrived at my house, they realized they needed other equipment and another man. They put the piano in a storage area. I paid him 1/2 of the agreed upon price and he told me that he would contact me when he could get another man. That was over 6 months ago. They never called once to explain the situation. I contacted another piano mover on contact and they came out last week and finished the job. I would not recommend DA Lowe Movers.

I called at the last minute to have a large upright piano moved. They only had to move from 1 room to another due to new hardwood floors. They arranged their schedule to meet me after work that day and moved the piano flawlessly. No scratches or dents on the new floor. I will use them next time I have a moving need.
