AT THIS POINT I AM GIVING MR. RAMSEY OF HOME SOLUTIONS 5 STARS FOR THE REPAIR OF THE CHIMNEY. ONCE I USE THE FIREPLACE IN NOVEMBER, I WILL KNOW IF THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN REPAIRED. MR. RAMSEY VERY POLITE COURTEOUS AND THE DISCOUNT FOR SERVICES VERY GOOD. MR. RAMSEY TOOK PICS BEFORE HE REPAIRED AND AFTER TO SHOW ME AND EXPLAIN THE CAUSE OF THE SMOKE COMING BACK DOWN CHIMNEY INTO ROOM. MR. RAMSEY WANTED TO LIGHT A FIRE, AND IT IS ALREADY 90 DEGREES. SO, I AM LEAVING THIS REVIEW AND CAN ALWAYS CHANGE IF HE DID NOT REPAIR THE PROBLEM IN NOVEMBER 2015 WHEN I USE THE FIREPLACE.

Sadly, this company is not transparent when it comes to potential cost. I asked what repair do they see the most with electric fireplaces and how much does it costs to replace the housing/brains of an electric fireplace with a basic system. Unfortunately they were unwilling to provide an answer which leads me to believe all they care about is collecting the $129 service fee. I regret wasting my time with this company especially after seeing the review another potential customer left on May 7, 2024 which is similar to my concerns. Add to this they are extremely rude. Take your business to a company that treats potential customers with respect, this is not it.

Cruz and his team were very professional and courteous. They met every deadline that was set and work tirelessly until the job was complete. They laid down drop cloths and wore shoe covers to keep the work area clean. They explained everything in easy to understand detail. Took photos at various milestones to keep me updated on their progress. Even though our chimney/fireplace repairs were unexpected and costly, we felt confident in the work that was being done and that Cruz was giving us a more than fair price. I would highly recommend Cormont, LLC. Work done: Inspected gas log fireplace, cleaned chimney flue, replaced chimney cap, tuck point chimney masonry, installed damper, installed and sealed flashing and various other work.

I spoke with Brandon on Monday and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday. I found out later Monday that my son would be delivered that night. Brandon was very understanding when I canceled/pressed pause on the service call. He then kept in touch and we were able to reschedule for Thursday. Thursday evening Brandon came over, diagnosed and repaired my fireplace issue in about 30-45 minutes, and charged what I thought was a very fair price. Just in time for the severe cold front in Atlanta. I would recommend him for sure!
