I had a outdated green and yellow tile master bath and a desire to remodel in a rustic style. I stopped by her shop in Senoia and gave heather a very crude description of my concept. She set a meeting for a site visit looked at the space and that's all it took. within days I was presented with her design concept and color pallet that she thought would work for my space and concept. what she came up with was a perfect design for my needs. my project required demo, plumbing, tile , lighting, cabinet refinish, quartz counter, paint, trim and new 6 panel doors.Heather supplied every licensed sub needed and scheduled them to do the work without delay. she stayed in touch through the entire project and never left me wondering what was going to happen and when each sub was scheduled.Heather delivered my concept to an amazing reality in a short amount of time considering this was a total gut and redesign job. she is very professional and on time,to me that is very important.on a rating scale from 1 to 5 stars , without question heather menard with lollapalooza design I rate at 6 stars and will be using her services on the kitchen project in the future. thank you

Heather has helped me with several design projects. The biggest project was updating our kitchen, and Heather did a fantastic job in keeping the integrity of our farmhouse style, while bringing the area to life with modern upgrades, color, and functionality! She respects the customer's own ideas and thoughts, while also getting one to think outside the box. What can be a frustrating process of decisions and choices was fun because of Heather's professionalism, creativity, design talents, and her ability to make things happen! I can't wait until our next project!!!!!!

Heather provided much-needed direction when she jumped into a project that was going wrong. She got us on track for a beautiful new bathroom. I really appreciate her timely response, reasonable rates and great eye for design!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes, I am a Allied member of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and every year I have to take a number of classes to stay certified and keep up with the new design trends!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Growing up I loved to move my furniture around, buy new accessories, change paint colors, and change any and everything my parents would let me. I had an eye for art and design. When I was in High School my AP Art teacher saw this and advised me to apply for the Interior Design program at Auburn University. I was accepted with 19 other girls who had a passion for making houses, homes! I loved everything I learned in school from selecting the perfect colors to making sure it was ADA accessible and a safe space!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they have an accredited Interior Design degree. In addition to being able to "decorate" spaces, licensed Interior Designers know AutoCAD, building codes, egress, ADA, etc; and they are governed by the state of Georgia.
