FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes and No. I'm very fair and I don't charge too much for the client because I love teaching. I have to make a profit, but I like to speak to the client before I price. Whether they've had a lot of experience or none at all goes towards pricing too. Standard Pricing is based on the side of a quilt or a canvas to be painted. If it's very large then I will charge by the job, if it's for learning then the hour, unless client wants more than 1 hour a week.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Giving them a blank pad. Putting a simple vase with flowers & fruit. Ask them to draw it. I'm not looking for perfection, just needing to see what you can do. Then we go over what our schedule will be like, and final projects, middle & end.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BFA: School of Visual Arts/ Illustration & Fine Art AA: Berkeley College/ Interior Design Certified in Home Staging from Haverhill School
