FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is $95 an hour, and it stays the same whether I work alone or with a partner. Before we start, I give you a flat-rate estimate for the total project and work to stay as close to it as possible. Storage products are separate from my hourly rate. I email you links to common items that most projects need so you can order them ahead of time, and if you’re comfortable with it, I can purchase them on your card or account, like Amazon. After we declutter and categorize, we’ll see how much more the space needs, like extra bins, organizing systems, or furniture, and we only buy what’s necessary so you’re not overspending. Maintenance add-ons are available if you want ongoing support.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Walkthrough and goals: We look at the space together and talk about what’s not working and how your family uses it. 2. Plan: I share the scope, timeline, and pricing before we begin. We order product I know we will use based off the walkthrough. 3. Declutter and categorize: We declutter as much as you’re comfortable with, so we’re not organizing clutter. I’m respectful of items with sentimental value. 4. Shop and organize: Once we know what you’re keeping, we buy storage systems and containers so you’re not overspending on products you don’t need. Then we set up zones that are efficient and easy to maintain. For kids’ spaces, that means reachable storage and toy rotation. 5. Final walkthrough: We go over the finished space together, and I give you simple tips to keep it maintained. I also offer maintenance add-ons if you’d like ongoing support.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2025, I trained with Clear the Clutter, an organizing company in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I learned from experienced, veteran organizers. That training built on the hands-on organizing I’ve done since 2018, when I took my first job in a large home in Chastain Park. I specialize in family spaces like playrooms, kitchens, pantries, and everyday living areas. My background as a nanny, postpartum doula, and professional household manager helps me understand what families need day to day and how to build systems that work for them.
